I am a gentile. My understanding is that your ninth commandment originally came from the Torah.

My understanding as a gentile is the Talmud is revisionist Torah which came after Moses in Babylon.

As a rabbi, how is the ninth commandment interpreted in the Talmud as opposed to the Torah.

Dear Rabbi Raskin, why does a woman have the credibility of two witnesses? Does that mean that a woman is not capable of lying? Honesty is the best policy, as the old saying. There is no need to lie when we have respect for ourselves and the conviction of what we speak is the truth. Whether others approved of our words or not. But, I believe that at one point or another in our lives there is a lie hidden in our heart, G-d forbid! I do not remember lying to anyone in my life because I am straight-forward. And I speaking as a woman. Reply
