Yet each of us has our escape route, to avoid bettering our lives by changing ourselves. We ask, “Were those words truly meant for me, or perhaps for someone else in another time and another place?”
If it is truth, it is meant for you, here, now.

GD's blessings are rewarding, and life and health to our bones. Torah is GD's "gift" to us, and its "Truth" is a blessing. Who refuses gifts!? Happy are we who receive, and open up the "gift" of Torah! It's the best gift that I know! Enjoy!

This thought process was literally my exact journey to becoming a SAHM and homeschooling. Everyone in my family talks a big game about prioritizing family above career. But who's willing to make the change when it's not merely scaling back overtime, but cutting out the fully 40 hours a week? Only me. And that was a difficult transition but you don't really believe in your values if you won't make difficult transitions for them! So either you love your little ones more than career satisfaction or you don't. Period.
Family is the single most important thing in life - right here, right now.

The Truth For Us
The Torah tells nothing about how to live in this world.
The Torah explains the system of levels of concealment and revelation that he created for us to advance in the process of rising above our nature to attain equivalence of qualities with G_dliness.
The truth is we have no ability to change our nature or our world.
Only the force provided by Him can change His creation. We can participate by understanding the method how to draw this Reforming Light to accelerate the process.
To the extent that we are corrected by His Reforming Light, we will perceive a more corrected world.

I don't agree with all the advice and ethics written in the books of the sages. I don't agree that this is the way to run your life.
Saying "everyone agrees" is not truth.
Because it is not truth, it is not meant for you, now or ever, here or anywhere (so stop reading this website).
(I admit that everyone agrees that "wonderful" advice is the way to run your life, but not everyone agrees on which parts of the advice are "wonderful" advice.)

It's a clear mirror to look at ourselves yes it is easy routes was to defend ourselves but self denials is needed before Truthfulness practically. Reply
Torah training. A runner trains every day in the present for the great race knowing to win. For they start at the beginning and race to the end. The crown is given by Him above who sees you worthy of placement. Reply

The Words Of Torah
Debarim 6:5 And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.
G-D is times it'self. HE was there when Torah was written. HIS words are timesless. whether in times of old, times of now, or times to come. HIS Words are timeless. It is truly meant for you now and it will be for you children and your childrens children. Amen.

But I have seen many people DIS agree on these threads. I've seen many say that the Sages were wrong. Yes, they actually say that.
And what DO the Sages say is the way for me to find a job in this economy?

To get a job in any economy: don't lose heart and never give up. Drink some water and/or have a cup of tea, and keep on keeping on. It isn't easy. Stay cheerful. Rabbi Shammai told us to greet the world with a cheerful countenance. Be cheerful in the mirror in the morning. Be humble. Remember HaShem will give you everything, including a job. You will find it. Volunteer for something while you are looking for the job. Keeps you in touch with people with whom you can practice cheerfulness and who might give you good ideas. Very positive. Study some Torah every day. Pray as much as possible. God loves to hear from you. Yes, you. You might like reading the words of Rabbi Nachman of Breslav. A loving, sensitive, very learned and wise tzaddik. Good luck. Keep the faith. Remember you are never alone.❤️ Reply
After Moses and his group pledged to unite as one man with one heart, G_d rewarded them the Torah. Their strong intention to unite in mutual responsibility towards each other attracted the Torah, the 'Reforming Light' that elevated them above their egoism and they felt G_d's presence between them.
The writings in the Torah instuct how to draw this Light that raises us above our ego so it can bond us together.
Now, over three thousand years after receiving the Torah at Sinai, we must shine this light to humanity to bring wholeness and peace to every place.
