HaShem We are all part of 'one' Our greatest teachers are where we begin and then follow. My first step was ChaBaD, the Rebbe of blessed memory, never having met him (in life) influenced my daily journey through the Torah and Tanya. The teachers, all the Rabbi's here on CHaBaD continue the journey following in the footsteps of the shepherds through the Torah and Tanya applying the acquired wisdom of sages to draw the learner to various levels of understanding, but most of all demonstrating the loving kindness of HaShem is for each and everyone if only we will hear. Growing Presence The first name that popped into my head is the Rebbe of Righteous Memory - and it would not matter if we are being reminded that we are nearing the 21st anniversary of his passing. Not only is the Rebbe's memory felt by all who knew him - Jew or gentile - but also videos, writings and memories of those who were blessed to have known him are bringing the Rebbe to people who were not born yet worldwide. Passing On.... Yes it's true... when my parents passed on I felt them more intensly than when they were alive...but I know that my parents would not want me to get stuck living in a loop, and I am sure the Rebbe did not want his followers to get stuck either. To grow we need living teachers/Rebbes as the dead's work is finished in this world and they have no voice. "For the dead cannot praise you; they cannot raise their voices in praise. It is the living who give thanks to You..." The rebbe clearly said ""I have done my part, from now on you do all that you can." So... what are we waiting for to appoint a new living, breathing, Rebbe to guide us? Reply
