You know those people who tell you, “I’m only saying this because I care about you! You need to work on x, fix y, and do you know that everyone is saying that you are so z?”
Thanks, but no thanks.
There are two key points to remember to preserve peace in any relationship. The first is that G‑d runs this world and for whatever reason, He deems it necessary for the present relationship to exist the way it does.
The second point is that until the coming of Moshiach, there exists no individual who can possibly be perfect, devoid of all flaws. Just as we do not want our flaws to be recognized and pointed out, so, too, we should not dwell on or point out the flaws of any Jew, especially our spouse.
