You don't need to move mountains.
You just need to know where to aim.
You can transform an entire family forever just with one candle lit by one little girl.

The Small Candle Within The most precious candle is the tiny light within that connects you to the Light of the Creator. This spark of Love resonates you with the all that is. This is the candle that we must pass on to others! Reply
Tenderness That was really embracing. August-I willl buy a Shabbot Candle holder in silver I hope and start doing prayers on Shabbot...I wanted to buy a Bird Embroidery set but it is frustrating and I am torn between the two. However I am not having this wonderful prayer on Shabbot and I will get that silver candle holder I know I will really...Thank you so much for this daily dose and it was short and it needed to be. Tranformations Theres is no way to know how a small act of kindness can go. Reply
A Small Candle I had gotten away from doing Shabbat. Started early this year and it has transformed my children and grandchildren. They know that Sunset on Friday is Shabbat. My granddaughter is learning her days of the week; she is going to Kindergarten. I said what is after Thursday, she chimes, "Shabbat"! It does transform a little girl's heart! Thank you! Reply
JUST ONE CANDLE
The world became more bright tonight,
My little girl lit her first Shabbos light.
She said the brocha carefully
So sweetly for a child of three.
And as I watched the flickering flame
I prayed her soul would be the same:
Growing brighter everyday
With Torah and mitzvos the Yiddishe way!

sigh with relief
This Daily Dose makes one sigh with relief.
We must not always turn the world upside down.
Sometimes the lighting of a Shabbat candle is enough. Thank G-d.
May we always know, when what is required from us!....

the parents return through the child
So True...
From the last verse in Malachi (3:24): "And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to their children, And the heart of the children to their fathers"
