What is your job in this world? It is to be real.
Act real, mean what you say, think and really be thinking, talk to your Creator and let the words flow from your heart. Every cell of your body down to your fingernails should be real.
Yes, everyone knows there are so many things to accomplish in life, and everyone agrees it’s better if they’re done with sincerity.
That’s not what’s meant. There’s just one thing you’re here to accomplish: To be real.
Be Real I will be putting this wonder-ful wisdom into action. When am i not being real? the real seems to also be a learner open to conversational attacks. Isn't the sacrifice offered with best intent, blessing and exuberance reality? A broken & contrite spirit? What then is "really thinking"? Reply

I understood and tried to live it (for awhile) and then the practice seemed to disappear from my life. The 'forgetting' is like a thick fog with connections to so many distractions, internal and external.
I will put 'The Quantum Leap' back into my 'inbox' and put it in writing in places that I am daily.
When I am able to be conscious, my life is different, clearer, easier, feels happy.

Hope and Reality - Live in the real world. Dream in the ideal world.
The cosmos began in darkness. It is the same way with the Jewish people. Judaism began in a world full of idolatry with Abraham destroying his father’s idols. However, in Egypt the former glories of the patriarchs and matriarchs had become but a dim light. The enslaved Jews in Egypt cried, “There can’t be a Gd; not with all this pain and suffering,” entertaining the idea that the former glories of the patriarchs and matriarchs of Judaism could be chalked up to luck and nothing else. We objected to the idea of Gd because our cries for hope went unanswered for so long in Egypt.
The Jews in slavery had only heard of Gd, and flirted with atheism, but when we were about to totally give up on Hashem, Moses came and showed us the path to redemption. He showed us the real Gd does care and that there is no dream too big to dream, reviving the soul of the Jewish people, with the wholesome Light of creation.

It is a little more puzzling to do as a baal teshuva, don't you think?
The guidance is not always encouraging in that way and it is tricky to differentiate between the reallness of the yetzer h. and the yetzer tov.
I am screaming (inside) for REAL understanding/guidance/encouragement !

Would you please explain what is this daily dose "Be Real" trying to teach us? How one can be real? Am I not real now? What are the steps to be real? Reply
When to be real I am just a little confused by this because I think that sometimes it is best not to be so "real". Sometimes people say mean things and follow up with "well, I am just being honest". I believe when one's thoughts are negative or not nice, it is best to "fake it" with a smile and positive words.
