Why is there death in the world?
So that evil will not live forever.
Because, since we ate of the Tree of Knowledge, no one walks forward without stumbling, no one climbs without falling, no one does good all his life without causing some damage along the way.
Until, at the end, our lives are an absurd muddle of good and evil, inextricably bound.
With death, evil dies as well. The failures, the ugly acts and the damage done—all these wither and eventually perish.
But the good we have accomplished—and that we truly are—this lives forever.

Good is light shiny and bright, evil is dark and gloomy. Good is stronger than evil and it’ll always be that way; evil can cause chaos and sometimes horrendous events and destruction, but in the end the light of the good extinguishes the darkest evil. Just like a burning fire is extinguished by the clear spraying of mounds of water.
No man or woman or even a child is perfect; we all stumble thru our daily lives just praying that what we’re doing amount to righteous acts. All we can do is pray that our stumbles will be remembered and next time we’ll do better and our lessons will’ve been learned. Those learned lessons mount up into heaps of goodness that make us shine somewhat brighter as we find our way into the next world.
