People talk about “wasting time,” or even “killing time.”
Neither term is accurate. Time does not belong to you that you can waste it. Yet neither does it have a life of its own that you can take away.
Rather, time awaits you to give it life.

One can never be aware of the passing of time, for it is always "now". The Soul is said to be a "tiny part" of HaShem, from Whom all the forms appear. The Creator, by putting into the universe groups of stars, planets, moons, asteroids, etc., known as galaxies, and which are always moving in relation to each other, appear to our sensory report as what we call the universe. These movements, when observed by humans can be measured against each other both in terms of movement and process development. This constitutes our bodies’ experience of what we call time. All bodies experience birth, growth, decline and death, but the soul does not.
So long as we focus on the body and the physical world in general as being “real”, we miss the truth of who and what we are actually. All this anyone can perceive on their own if they merely focus on "what IS" .

You were given life for this moment, so that you can give this moment life Reply
Living Time Today I woke up fully aware of my own existence, thoughts and sensations, I am grateful. I gaze out of my window, beholding nature, the beautiful green trees as they bend and bow, and the birds chirp a beautiful song paying homage to God. Each day new mercies I see. I will give life today my being positive in actions and deeds, I will not kill my time or other's, with negativity, destroying our hope and the miracles of God today. I will keep it moving, observing the giants in my path, and know for certain God is with me. I will "Live Time". Reply
Oh, how beautiful and profound, Michele. Thanks! Reply
Thank you, Maria. Wow it's been five years since I wrote those words, and through it all, we are still here, how about that! Our God is an "Awesome GOD." I am reminded of our Matriarch Sarah, who is known to have had two sets of years, or lifetimes. I continue to live my best spiritual life ever, and I am grateful for the opportunity. Each day I remember to choose life, then grace and mercy always follow. Talk soon. Reply
Does G-d experience time or is [he] in an "eternal now" ? Schrodinger's Box? Suspect the latter and that time is G-d's gift to us to use (enliven) as we choose. Reply
All that happened in the past was better. All that happened in the past was better. We were willing to fill time with life, but when the time is near to be over for us; when it's time for our souls to return to the place where they came from, then, our time is not the same. Our mission in life has already been fulfilled and if it weren't so, time will come with another life to fulfil our mission in its entirety. Reply
Waiting for time I wait a long time for this. Now is the time. I never have time before, so now I make time. Reply
May it be Your will, G-d, our G-d and the G-d of our fathers, that You should lead us in peace and direct our steps in peace, and guide us in peace, and support us in peace, and cause us to reach our destination in life, joy, and peace . Save us from every enemy and ambush, from robbers and wild beasts on the trip, and from all kinds of punishments that rage and come to the world. May You confer blessing upon the work of our hands and grant me grace, kindness, and mercy in Your eyes and in the eyes of all who see us, and bestow upon us abundant kindness and hearken to the voice of our prayer, for You hear the prayers of all. Blessed are You G-d, who hearkens to prayer. Reply
I do like the saying: Give life to time. I understand then that each time we have, we do the positives such as being grateful, praying for somebody etc. Yes. We must give Life to Time. Amen to that. Thanks for sharing Rabbi..
