The true teacher is most present in his absence.
It is then that all he has taught takes root, grows and blossoms.
The student despairs for his teacher’s guidance,
and in that yearning, the student leaves behind his old way of thinking.
His mind opens to receive all that his teacher gave him,
to think as his teacher thought,
to know as his teacher knew.

It is so true. I can't believe the knowledge that I have acquired, and every time I seek more knowledge a teacher appears. I remember to ask questions either, within myself or of others, I don't just assume that everything I hear is fact, I decide for myself. Knowledge is Power! I will never forget the Rabbis who helped me along this journey of discovery of myself and my ancestors. I have received it for the purpose of sharing with others. What do you see when you look at a person? It's always more than meets the eye. The Rebbe was a dynamic leader He kept "hope" alive, not only for his tribe, but to anyone who needed it. Toda raba!
