For some reason, medical science says that I shouldn't eat grapefruit since it badly reacts with the medications that I take. So, I use facewash that has grapefruit in it to prove this point. I don't want those who sell grapefruit to go broke because certain medications interact with the fruit. Just because something is forbidden to ingest doesn't mean that it's evil in all contexts. Applies to the Cannabis plant! Hashem created all seed-bearing plants for the benefits of humans. How many people have suffered pain, seizures, the ravages of cancer and its therapy, insomnia, diabetes, glaucoma, neuropathic conditions, prison, neurodegenerative disease, anxiety, PTSD etc. because government ignores the above teaching? All together Purpose of all is for good. Somethings may not appear to perform its purpose, it is Hashem that allows it to go unfosted to give us an oppertunity to persuade the good from it. As long as we are seeking Hashem's face, we will approach the moment with the intent for good. There is no substitute for love. Reply

Who is truly able to say that something is evil? I might be a part of a plan for eventual good. So, always try to raise every thought or action or situation higher. The goodness (godliness) in or reaction and resulting action helps fix the world.
