SuperSenses for a SuperMind To the extent that we become similar to G_dliness by connecting to others in one mind and one heart, we will create a supermind between us.
Our limited 5 senses are replaced by supersenses that belong to our one common soul. Then we are able to perceive truth and wholenses that encompasses all reality. Reply

too hard lately... I enjoy and rely on the daily doses for a minute of thought to take me through my busy day. however, in the past few days, i feel that the doses are much too intricate to swallow in a minute or two. i need to keep reading and even then, i feel there is so much trying to be relayed and it doesn't become just a "dose". is there any way you can break them up more, or simplify them?thanks Reply

Supermind I read this on the day before Shabbat and approaching the 4th of July in America. My supermind right now is there are things I can not understand but I am still grateful for the simple daily life with all the troubles and cheers the L-rd gives us. I thank you for regarding things I can not understand there are wonderful people like you dedicated their lives to the study of Torah to remind people llike me. Wish you a good rest coming up and let us celebrate the freedom to exercise our supermind for the Name of our G-d. Reply

Emunah + ? Seems mind, supermind, and Emunah are relatives of Rabba Emunatecha from Modeh Ani involving G-d's Great Faith in us, our Bitachon/steely trust bond and Daat the Essential Truth gleaned from Wisdom and Understanding and which is made real within every bone in our body and resides in our heart.

That's the esoteric part. I like the bread and butter items - mitzvot, Torah Study, prayer/meditation and just being an all-round good person. Easier on the brain. For some of us, we remind ourselves at some point or points during the day ( call it Emunah in action ), that there is a Purpose to it. For me, the more days i remember to say Modeh Ani gives the greater likelihood that i will follow it up with The Shema.

I also like that it is not blind faith. Inner vision is more concrete, to form or be formed by an inner vision. Sometimes the whole gamut can get overwhelming. Then along comes a wonderful simple process.

you know, like how can you state what it is when it is larger than words,it's so universal, to put words into it would distort it and limit it.

Like light, you can slow down light, you can make it standstill, but then it won't be light anymore you know-it'll be some kind of distorted version.

separating light from darkness--separating what it is from what it's not.

it's the back of the face, you know. nobody sees the face and lives.

No neuron has ever ventured out of the head to see the face that owns it.

You said what it's NOT. What IS it? For years I tried to convince myself I was an agnostic since nobody can prove one way or the other whether Gd is real. That was my intellect.

One day a voice inside me cried,
"STOP saying you don't know! I DO know! Gd IS real!"

And I believed that voice and obeyed it.

Is that what you are talking about here?

It is tricky Dear Rabbi Tzvi,
In one intense meditation I heard a quiet voice drown the loud nagging one that's insisting on a destructive path that will align my inner and outer self... and it said: Life moves forward. Decide from this point on. So in effect it was telling me that the present is who I am, regardless who I was--even a minute ago. I don't have to live up to the sins I committed in my head and choose on the basis of that, but be the person I am at the present, free of sin and brand new. It frees me to do the right thing again.SO if the truest self is outside of past actions, where is it exactly found? Its beyond our minds, as you said. It is not stored in the Limbic Brain that holds our memories--but is created every minute, every second, refreshed and renewed somewhere science cannot reach. So I totally get this and appreciate reading it. In fact there is a name for it! "the tests of emunah" is my lesson for the week. Funny how I live it first and then on the same day i gain insight on it, Daily Dose explains it. This site is truly inspired. It saves my day each time I need to be saved.

Why call it Supermind? That would just be Mind to the Nth degree. It's something other than mind, like maybe Soul. The godly soul. It knows. It just knows.

Supermind This is the reaching of Tifferet to Chochma . Most people reach instead to "rational" Binah and forego the benefit and blessing of intuitive Wisdom which "knows intimately that which the mind can only peer at through the shifting clouds".
It would be helpful if the Chabad site would make available some "accessible" and non theoretical texts explaining how we all are "spiritually structured" along the same attributes as our Creator and that self realization is the result of being conscious of and using all our innate attributes Reply

SUPERMIND Dear Tzvi,
I found the above article fascinating.
However, I need to ask you exactly what you are referring to.
Is it the kind of "truth" that one can obtain through e.g. meditation i.e. either the type of meditation practised by yogis and/or Kabbalists?
Is there any other way to "harness" this kind of truth?
