It is not just you alone in exile. Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and all the generations of their children, as well all the heavenly host—in fact, the entire creation—all is unfulfilled, in exile and imprisoned.
Even the Creator Himself locks Himself into prison along with His creation.
At every turn, light awaits you to release it from its prison. And with it, the entire world.
The illusion of a self, separate, individual confines our minds and hearts to ficus on my needs and well being.
This instinctive perception is incredibly difficult to overcome. Only during rare aha moments, people are gifted a glimpse of connection with everything.
We need to retrain our minds and hearts to redirect our intention towards others. To always incorporate others and the cosmos onto our decisions for the optimum outcome for the whole. Then we can escape the prison of our solitary confinement.

Did we not put ourselves & as a consequence Hashem is also in Exile, therefore we can leave the Exile & as a consequence Hashem will be out of Exile. Reply
1. The Creator is not an inmate in prison. He continues to do, as the only doer. Every person, until they learn to look, and thus to see, lives in an imaginary world. Moses: Who shall I say sent me? Answer: Ehyeh (I AM, I WILL BE) sent me. So, is the word G-d the actuality of G-d? Like the word house is not an actual house, or like the map is not the territory, like all language, words are merely pointers. There is no light shone by language.
2. Say someone asks me who I am. I answer with my name. Tell me more about yourself? I answer with my narrative, which is also all I know. This is the ego, knowledge that leads each of us through our life.
3. Realization of what IS, something we have forgotten, must be intuited. The answer to the question “Who is G-d” only comes to us in the stillness of listening, of waiting. Then comes LIGHT, and once again we walk with the actuality of G-d.

the sentence 'Perhaps, for you, this exile is not so bad...." definitely applies to me, personally. the exile was two thousand years ago; to even imagine otherwise is unfathomable to me. but...that all generations, even G-d - who locks Himself into prison - are unfulfilled, in darkness - and in exile changes everything; makes it urgent that we get us out by focusing on G-d and realizing it's all about G-d (personal opinion)!! it is a great big responsibility, but when one starts, the others follow.
it is just that sometimes ego protects us very well from self-sacrifice which is admittedly quite inconvenient.
But there is no spiritual progress without sacrifice.

Understanding It isn't a burden, but a blessing to have the responsibility you describe. We are all united, side by side with our Creator, working through the maze until individually we unlock the door to Heaven. Reply
Exile means to be forced away from a cherished place ,or country. Since we were taken out of the Gan Eden we are in exile and working had to live as Chavah and Adam when they were told that nothing from now on will be free. Late, of course Moshe Rabbeinu toook us of Egypt and brought us to the Promised Land. Yet, those living then didn't behave to the level that Moshe Rabbeinu's proclaimed: "Justice, Justice thou shall pursue" and, in time we lost the L and again; hence galut. If H' is also feeling imprisoned is out of sympathy with us his children, H' gave free will but it meant to live a life bederech., and it takes an effort to walk the path as directed. When this reversal is not happening, of course, H' also feels in prison. I think this is metaphorically implied becaus H' is definitely a free unique agent of creation. with no strings attached as we humans are.
