Each moment of the present contains a myriad of possibilities for the future — that is all the so-called 'Laws of Nature' provide. There is no chain of cause and effect, no predetermined fate. It is not the present that determines the future. It is us.
If it seems otherwise to our eyes, that is only because we do not perceive the world as it is outside of us. We perceive a world that we have already touched, that our knowledge can fathom. But the true world is beyond anything we can comprehend. Its very nature is G‑dliness.
And therefore, anything could happen next.
