What can we learn from the cycle of the moon, how she ever waxes and wanes and waxes again?

That a time of greatness is a time to make yourself small, for in smallness lies the power to receive.

And a time of smallness is a time to look forward to greatness, for in receiving lies the power to grow.

Indeed, the ability to remain small is the secret of true, enduring greatness, so that you may always continue to grow.

Delight Full To be filled with G_d's abundance we need to provide Him an empty vessel.
We need to empty our heart and mind from our negative thoughts and self-concern. Then we can sense beyond our self.
-Then we can feel G_d since we enable His Light to fill us.

At the same time when I have shrunk my ego to smallness to receive His glorious Light, I have given G_d contentment. He is able to fill me with Light!
I have become great by this act of pleasing Him and by being connected with Him.
This mutual reciprocity of being delighted and delighting Him is expressed as 'dvekut' with G_d.
The Kabbalists experienced this phenomenon!
They provided us with the method to make myself small in order to become great!

This eternal fulfillment of each other takes us to the next level! Reply

The moon is the brightest light in the sky, that’s second to the sun. From the basis of the oldest calendars, the
moon has been a timepiece with its periods of waxing and waning. But has the moon really brought about times of insanity and irrationality; some think not even yet in today’s world. However, many strange happenings have been linked to the moon and its unique changes. Even though the moon only covers about 0.21078 sq. degrees on the night sky, the moon sometimes appears to be so huge and nearby you feel as if you could touch it. And there are other times when the moon appears very small and so far away, so very far out of our reach. Much like the moon when it’s small then that’s a time to think big and become great, and when it’s large it’s a time to look backwards and think small again, so as, to begin again. When all is small it’s much greater to receive and when all is large it’s not as great to receive. A great learning lesson for all of us to ponder. Reply

Full Moon I follow through every step of your teaching based on the letters and talks of the Rebbe, blessed his soul, but I still cannot grasp the reason why I am here and what I am to do in this world. I have tried to give as much as I could, now I feel empty. If it wasn't because of Hashem, blessed be He, presence in my life I would probably lost somewhere in the shadows of this world. He is keeping me for a purpose, I know that. I am just waiting. B"H Reply

Fullfilment We are placed in his world to develop our soul. When you ask the meaning of your life, the spark of your soul has awakened.

Only an authentic Kabbalist who is at a degree of attainment of G_dliness can guide you within a group of likewise aspiring friends, how to draw the Light (Ohr Makif) that gradually corrects our nature to allow us to re-build the shattered soul.
The final soul system will receive His abundance in a way that it passes through the system eternally. This is the fullfilment of G_d's wish for us.

Anonymous, when I was a very young child I ask my mother "Why am I here?" Most kids wanted to know how they got here. I'm 82, yrs old now and have lived in the shadows all my life. I actually lived in a place called Acres of Shades, I moved from there but I am still in the shadows. I'm fine with it though. I have always hated being in the spotlight. I've never had that desire. Lol Reply
