Perhaps Abraham entered into Egypt on the 17th of Tammuz and Sarah was taken on the 9th of Av and lead away under escort to learn the customs of Egypt and the Royal court which could have taken up to 3 years. On Passover, the plagues started, but the magicians took a while to figure out what happened. On Yom Kippur, Pharaoh came to Sarah and offered her a final choice, for one night, you can have anything that your heart desires, food, drink, sexual slaves, riches, all you need to do is eat, drink, touch a servant, or bow down to the gods of Egypt, then I will know that you truly love me and you can stay with me forever in Egypt as my Queen and never have to go back to Abraham. Pharaoh said you don't have to say a word, I will know your answer by your choices. So for one day, Sarah refused any alcohol, food, pleasing servants, and refused to go near any strange idols. Being so loyal, Hashem himself came and rescued her and Pharaoh did not dare to oppose the Angel of the Lord. Reply
