Light My Fire: The Soul’s Essential Elevation via Torah

Declares G-d, "My flame – the Torah – is in your hands, and your flame – the soul – is in Mine. If you guard Mine, I shall guard yours" (Midrash Devarim 4:4). But is not the soul too "G-d's flame"? In addressing this question, this class offers new insight into why the Divine soul, which is naturally drawn and connected to G-d, requires Torah altogether? (Maamar Bahaalotecha 5729)

Blessings and thank you, As an observer I see the Jewish people have done all that they can, and as the Rebbe expressed with tears- but the mission is not complete. I pray our creator will give us all full understanding and for the mission to finally be complete, heaven on earth. G-d bless you. Reply

Sound is inadequate, muffled. Please ask the recording engineer to have more respect for the teacher and the audience. Thanks. Reply

This class analyzes an aspect of the weekly Torah portion or upcoming holiday. While providing a basic understanding of the subject matter, the lesson delves into its deeper and more complex dimensions with emphasis on the spiritual relevance to our daily lives. Inspiration for both the novice and advanced student.
