Conquering shame When Adam and Chavah were in the garden of Eden, they were not ashamed. It was only after eating the forbidden fruit that they became aware of each others nakedness and were ashamed. Now, Gd is calling us to conquer our shame. If we only fear Him, we can't care about what people think of us. When people judge our outward expression of joy for Gd, the angels laugh. They laugh because those that judge rise up those displaying joy. In turn, it is pulling Gd down. Reply
