People imagine we believe that Abraham and Moses gave the world the ideas of morality and value of life.
It is not true. These ideas were known to Adam and to Noah. It is just that, with time, humankind had mostly forgotten them.
What these giants brought to the world was a greater idea: That the values essential to humanity’s survival can endure only when they have a larger context: when we understand ourselves as created beings engaged by the Master of this Universe to take care of His world.

In 2002 I received a received cup for a poem from the International Society of Poets due to one of my poems. I was furious due to a change of a word in it by an editor, but I thought of as the main usage of the word. My wife knew of my anger but kept it inside, and how much it kept me “forever” blocked.
However, I have grown enough to perceive the growth in me from the Master of this Universe, that here I am writing for Him in Chabad.
