There is no moment more vital
than the one right now.
There is no space more crucial
than the one in which you stand.
There is no act more powerful
than the one you have been empowered to do.
For this is the moment
and this is the place
from which the Moshiach may come.

You may not realize it, but the most important moment is the moment you’re living in right at this time. Savor it, hold on to it as if there may never be another moment in your life, because this may be the very last moment of your life. Tomorrow may never show it’s face to you or someone else you know or even never saw before. Live, love and be thankful for whatever is happening at this time, at this place and in your very special space in time right now. The job, the words, the actions or whatever have been placed within your hands right now use everyone of them with all of your G d given power and love and act upon this moment at this time in this particular space. This may be that long awaited time all of us have been praying, pleading, and crying for when the Moshiach walks upon this earth and takes into his hands all of the turmoil, suffering, and heartache we all have been enduring for many many years and centuries and G d’s earth won’t ever be the same again. Yes, but it's not Moshiach's purpose to take our turmoil, suffering and heartache into his hands. In fact, I don't even understand how that's possible. Reply

The Now This is pure Mindfulness. The Rebbe was teaching it long before it attained its current vogue in contemporary thought. Reply
Open your eyes, open the doors
The Rebbe said so long time ago... to open the eyes and see, like after a long sleep. That moment then is called "The Now", a moment of awareness that could happens in every minute. He also said to let Moshiach to come in, or to go outside and look after him, to bring him in and sit with him together at the table.
Open the doors.

The here and now is the focus, but it can not become the effort. The effort must be to live each moment in the here and the now. Reply

There is no other “moment” than “the now”, The past only exists as memory, and is “dead” in that sense. As for the “future” nothing yet exists. We can only calculate or project our expectations. What we might think of as a “stream of consciousness” is basically thought, which exists to support the ego by connecting all this flow of memory together. The ego is symbolically referred to as the Pharaoh, and Egypt as “restriction”. It blocks us from the living moment and the Creator, using fear of the unknown as an excuse.
The ego stands as a separate “self” against the “I am…” or the only “true Self” that there is. The Creator is always aware of everything everywhere and doesn’t change. So if I say “I am” this or that as if knowing, I am projecting my imagination as a separate entity conflicting with the Creator, who makes us anything he wants. It’s not up to us, to our ego. To escape this trap we must learn to look at what is as it is, and not as we want it to be.
