No Limits

Of course, we all have our own "Egypt" that stops us from moving forward. Some of those Egypt situations we bring them upon ourselves for not thinking before hand what the result of that action would be. Others we didn't bring them on, but still stops us from advancing. It took Moshe Rabbeinu time to convince Pharaoh to "Let my people go"! If we compare the situation we must also go through many trials but we can then be free of the situation that is stopping us from going forward, We have two tools :"sechel "and" free will " to achieve our goals, and free ourselves of our "Egypt." Yet, some people use neither, and just tend to complain about their obstacles again and again,- never solving it., and victimization continues. H 'is there to support our struggles, but no to solve our very important human issues. We must be the ones to find a solution. "Just break the chains. Just do it !" Chag sameach! Reply

Today's Daily Wisdom reminds me of the Prophet Ezekiel and the Valley of Dry Bones. GD asked him, "Son of Man, can these dry bones live?" Ezekiel responded, "O Lrd GD, You Know!" . . . He prophesied to the bones, and they came together. Then he called to the 4 winds to come and breath on the bones, they stood on their feet, and lived [Ezekiel 37:1-14]!

GD Is Limitless! We must forget the past, look ahead to the new things that GD wants to do in our life, and make dry places alive with refreshing springs of Living Waters - Torah [Isaiah 43:18-19]. BELIEVE! Thank you.

I left Egypt when I asked G d to take hold of my right hand and please hold it very tightly. Then lead me down the right path; I don’t know if I should turn right or left or if I should keep moving forward since being a slave to the world has put nothing but confusion in my mind. So if you would dear heavenly G d have mercy upon me as a sinner, a backslider, and every other foul type of person, believe me now, at this very minute in time that I’m ready to move out of my Egypt and take each day at a time listening to your words speak to my heart in a way that I’ve never heard your voice before. I now realize you’re the only way out of the wrong way whether it’s up or down, sideways or backwards. You, G d, are my life, my love, my reason for living and my promise to you will be kept with the utmost sincerity until the day that I take my last breath. And then I hope to see your smiling glowing face in some form looking down upon me as I float away. Reply

There are some who, finding themselves, at the bottom of the pile, as it were, have been for and have accepted that they must accept their 'lot in life" - they are oppressed and somehow believe that date dictates that they must accept this. The oppressors commend this attitude. There are those who are at the top of the pile, who likewise and with some delight accept their lot in life, and without conscience, or awareness of how their comfort and wealth comes at the expense of others whom they probably deem as less deserving.

Others see the injustice and refuse to bow to it or cooperate. Oppressors detest these people. But they stand for justice. Reply

No Limits For Love Only when the people recognize their limitless attachment to their desires to enjoy for themselves and the horrendous consequences that are derived from this attitude, then they will discover a more powerful desire within. A desire to escape this useless pursuit that enslaves them.

Moses guided them to break free from this self-love with that special force within that the new desire awakens in us.

It is a gradual process to transform our nature to achieve good relationships of love to others. To the extent we remove the barriers of hatred and distance between us He will remove the barriers to His world… until we are rewarded with no limits to perceive all there is in the true reality. Moses organized a method to guide the people to reach such states of connection between then, through inner spiritual exercises.

Our final exile demands we use the special force Moses discovered within, follow his method. Then we will exit our self to reach a place with no limits to enjoy giving love! Reply

What about the Jews who chose not to go out with Moses ?
We're taught that only approx 20% of Jews left Egypt and that the rest, several million according to some sources, who didnt want to go out, were killed by Hashem during the plague of darkness.
So presumably they were ok about their situation. Reply

the only limits we have are the ones that we place on ourselves nobody else can set our limits for us.G-d is always there to help us along the guideand and to share his wisdom and love which are boundless.as long as we have G-d in our hearts there are no limits. Reply

Duality The first years were acceptable. It was as it was. Then a G-d delivered a new Pharoah who was so cruel that even his soldiers had issues with him as to how we were being so horribly mistreated.

Yet, when Moses brought them the news that it was time to leave, we balked. We were used to our lives, even as miserable as they were. But our lives were known factors. Now we were being told to go away from the known and go to the unknown. Faith and trust came to us. As we witnessed the ten plagues our faith increased and our fears decreased. We knew we were blessed. Reply

I recall a rabbi's quote from a book many years ago which was something to the effect of: "The problem with slavery in Egypt is(was) that we learned to endure it for too long".
Sometimes one's personal egypt can have that effect.
But it seems that freedom starts with a very small and seemingly insignificant even or a thought, a tiny spark, if we let ourselves notice it and follow through with it. Reply

No Limits So true my dear Rabbi Freeman! Baruch Hashem! Once we know Torah we'll be free from Egypt. One step at a time, for those who have lived in ignorance of the beauty of Hashem's, blessed be He, TaNak. It only take the first step on the road of knowledge for us to change our wicked ways. And also, if we chose to follow through for His amazing Love and Compassion to instill deep in us that beauty of His. Then Egypt and its way will be destroyed completely in our lives. No Limits What a prolific analogy; it allows me to see "the chains that bind me" as Egypt and then it offers hope that there will be a "Moses" of sorts, that will free me from bondage.The visual lets me see the Promised Land at the end of this long, dark, tunnel. I know I can't wait around for Moses and that I will have to be my own deliverer but your writing gives me a simple but tangible script to get out of my Egypt. Thank you. Shalom! Reply

Limitless My prayer after reading this dose today:
Father, you are certainly our stronghold, and refuge. Ever since You created this beautiful world, the adversary have tried to destroy it, and your children. But as long as you are our G-d, and always will be, we will live forever. Thank you Hashem for everything you do every day to sustain us, and confort us. Reply

No Limits You are soo right Rabbi Freeman. And the only way we can find out who or what we are is by seeking the Most High G-d. He, and only He, can tell us the truth. Blessed be He. I have learnt that lesson from my own experience. Pharo is still making my life difficult, but Hashem is my stronghold. I wish He was visible to all of us in this world. But it will be soon. Reply
