If "I am back there again", then I haven't managed to leave. In other words its illogical for us to both leave and find ourselves automatically returned. Reply

David, I’m sure you’ve heard of a suspended state. Our current state of freedom is precisely that. We are naturally drawn towards a state of bondage—to our instincts, to society, to history—so that as soon as we let go of that divine hand stretched out from the heavens, we’re back down in our Egypt again.

You can live anywhere and contributing to the wellbeing of the planet and general population where ever you are. And the suspended state is compatible. The more free one becomes the more beneficial to others. That’s my opinion anyway. Israel is our deep roots, but the tree can extend to all the world. And bare it’s fruits of wisdom. Reply

So true! However it is possible to leave ‘Egypt' for good. Trust God completely. Each year we are reminded of it. Abandon yourself to your creator and he will lead you, you will be free for ever and ever. Reply
