Hmm? Gosh, the Seder is so exciting and still goosebumpy to me and I'm in my 60s now. My father also added this... never ever is the wise child ever called the good son. My father told us that he saw two sons on one side of the table and two sons on the other... like two sides with each having two questions each. The wicked son was paired with the son who did not know what to ask, and the wise son was paired with the simple son. We see here how people tend to pair up. The simple look for wisdom and the disconnected tend to lean toward wickedness. Wisdom is not a sign of goodness, nor is wickedness a sign wisdom is lacking. Sometimes the most wicked is the most wise, and the most wise lack common sense. I always thought it sad, that their was no mention of the good son but I guess that's because only G-d is Good. Reply

Wise is the child or adult who constantly questions what they don’t understand. We can’t begin to learn how, why, when, and where an event became about, how it came about, when it came about and why it came about. Those who just accept but still have doubts will never reach the top of the mountain to the land of the truth. Wisdom like other G d given gifts isn’t just sprinkled upon our heads the very day that we’re born like salt from a shaker. Wisdom is granted to those who ask for it from their creator, G d. Then after G d so graciously gives us the wisdom as a gift if we don’t use that gift then our creator, G d will think twice the next time before granting us another special gift. Why should G d keep bestowing gifts upon his creatures if we don’t even use the first one. Ask and you’ll receive, seek and you’ll find and praise G d each and everyday for all blessings he sends our way. Reply
