She can conquer anything, except the king. Beautiful. She who receives the king's intense nurturing can take that potent energy and power transfusion and use it to nurture whatever around her requires beautifying, educating, taming or even conquering (if it does not conflict with what benefits the king, of course). It doesn’t say the queen conquers the king.
It says she learns how to conquer, period.
It suggests a woman learns to conquer.
But, I think conquer is already part of her nature.
When a king decides upon a certain woman
he has been or is on his way to being conquered.
There must be an agreement upon roles and duties.
that the king must have the last word
in certain types of situations and
the queen can have it in others.
When a woman the king has made queen
decides to change what they agreed upon,
fails to respect and support the king’s plans and wishes,
undertakes a course of secret or manipulative
or aggressively overt conduct
to achieve what she could not achieve by
reasonable talking and renegotiation of terms with her king,
do you think that it is proper and acceptable conduct
for a wife or queen?
Queen Esther never threatened or manipulated
except she fasted making herself weak, pale and extra lovely
arousing her king’s sympathy & support
for her noble cause.

In Dutch one of the words for Husband is "Gemaal"...
which means:"Pumping Station"....
A pumping station is machine that brings Water (the feminine yin?) to higher level, brings or keeps water levels "just"...
And in your "above" it is a mutual spiritual process of enrichement ..
Our Queen Bearix just became Protectress of the Association"De Hollandsche Molen" (The Dutch Mill", in fact a "pumping station as well") Followed up her Spouse ("Heer-Gemaal") Prins Claus and Friso, her son. As they both passed away...

This So Perfectly Describes My Marriage I have rarely found words that so perfectly describe my life before and after my marriage. My husband is a man's man - respected by all who know him, strong, courageous, powerful. But the father of three daughters whom he had a hard time being tender with. I am a college-educated woman who is called sensitive, caring and nurturing but was never quite able to find the courage in myself to use the abilities and gifts G-d had equipped me with in the strength required to make more than a marginal difference until my husband and I became one. Now he is transforming and learning to tenderly nuture his daughters' hearts instead overpower them. And I am learning to befriend the strength that G-d has gifted me and let if flow into my gifts instead of smother it under fear of being "too masculine" or "overbearing". This is not an old-fashioned idea, this is the essence of completion. We didn't look for each other. We were revealed to each other right in synagogue after 4 years. Reply
Transfusion Rabbi, I honestly have given much thought to the subject matter. Perhaps too much so my expectations are quite high, making a tough situation even harder. What you are saying is true, no doubt about it. In these times where most of my energy is to stay above water in the material realm as well as performing my religious duties time to look and find the right "Queen" is a difficult task. kings and queens This sounds very nice and probably points to the equality in the king-queen united relationship. The problem i have is that the explanation is old school. I do not think that the writer's conceptual words would be widely accepted at large in today's society. We are or should be beyond the need for bra burning. Reply

Finding vs. Making a Queen (Answer to Sam) There is no "ready to use" perfect husband of wife.
It is the effort we put into the relationship that makes the spouse king or queen.
Basically said, it does not matter who you wed - what matters is that she or he is willing to work on improving her/him self and the relationship.
