It is always a pleasure to listen to Chana. Her soothing voice has a hypnotic effect that takes you to a journey of our past; intellectualizing as she speaks. Reintroducing us to our ancestors she keeps us connected with them. How wonderful ! Reply

Wrinkles It's easy for somebody who doesn't have any wrinkles to say to grow old gracefully, wrinkles and all. Wait until her face starts showing its age and see if she still thinks the same way. Reply

Depths of time Years of years of years refers to the depth and passage of time that is experienced by the one who successfully achieves the "crossover" from this world into Hashems' domain where he is seated on his dais. It is this process which is metaphorically objectified in the structure of the Mishkan. The outercourts' curtain, the laver, and the inner courts' curtain.

The ark within called the holy of holies is the soul and in its deepest recesses is he whose name we do not speak. So too for Noah was the ark a metaphorical object representing his soul. The important thing is that Sarahs' soul abided in that deepest recess of the soul where Hashem himself is seated. Hence the place where time flows like water but you could not know this if I had not told you. Reply

returning to gan eden and torah How I would love to understand what Chava and Sarah understood. I believe HaShem never meant for anyone to grow old, or be sick, or die. Adam and Chava never knew what that meant until they violated HaShem's command. Our spirits are striving to return to that time but we are doing it by our own thinking and not by His. I am grateful for having the Torah to rejuvenate us! Thanks again Mrs Weisberg for this wonderful series. Reply

Madison Avenue looks at youth thinks looking young and being young is the thing and adores youth. Getting old is frowned upon. Lets get it together getting old is a fact of life. There is beauty in getting old. Reply

Sure, most if not almost all will agree with you but I do not.My best friend died when I was in middle school, she was my Ema I was nervous about dying with a sickness like hers..
so even though looking at wrinkles is not fun there are days when I am glad to be over 50.
I happen to know many people over 80 so I might see things differently.
Yes this vid made me cry and think. Wow. I must go back and listen to this again.
I get that thinking young will keep us younger. I know many will try to look younger.
I have had my challenges and even when all my hair was blonde and I had no wrinkles, I still looked a little older .--Even if you don't have parents or siblings or a best freind. You have GD and yourself. And many miracles every day. Love is the light of GD; some days we just need to see what is in front of us.Thank YOu Chabad for this amazing amazing work. Reply

I loved the message because yesterday I was thinking if I only could be sixteen years old again and I was so sorry of opportunity missed.But now I am 48 and this message was great. The thought of gaining value in the sight of other people when I was sixteen and more beautiful was the problem. Now as a woman of 48 year, I think people are harder in their judgments towards (me) an older woman because one should have now gained a sort of position. The society thinks that youth is synonym with fertility and a better place. This is idolatry. I think because the society seem to give value more to youth and fertility. Thanks to Zara she had a son when she was old, she was not a Venus of fertility like the pagans. Zara she had a beauty of wisdom and purity from heaven. Reply

Chasing Youth How wonderful most it be to be like Sarah. Unfortunately, not all of us have such gifts. If I could change my whole life through for my G-d, I would do it. But obviously it is only a dream. Maybe in another life. If there is such thing. Baruch Hashem. Reply
