The rebbe was a strong person and those who were near him would always be inspired to carry on and they are blessed and fortunate to have a rebbe like him in which there is no limit and a person is transported beyond the horizon ..The important aspect is i guess to carry on with your own race and with your own limitations and not to compete but to enjoy the journey according to your own pace and to do tikkun whenever the need arises as well as to do more when the opportunities arise. For this tiredness and laziness must be differentiated as well as the ability to respond out of your comfort zone is needed.Like the rebbe said from the tanya we are indeed spiritual spirits having a human existence and not the other way around so the spirit has to be known and cultivated.
Extract from the speech by the rebbe at 1:09; We must contemplate how every moment is precious and that it should be filled with true substance, permeating it with the true Being, G-dliness, and with G-d himself. And this must be expressed in action: every Moment, every hour and every day should be filled with a true and living content... << i.e. nothing should escape my attention. There are so many kinds of consciousness, like the instinktiv con., the sub con, the awaken con, the consciousness, the self consciousness and beyond... according his advice, it will be work, work and always work, to reach that high level of consciousness, to be aware of every single moment in my daily life. Reaching this Level, is the aim... So I'll I ask myself: Can I really controll my thoughts, can I really controll my emotions, or are my thoughts controlled by my emotions, do I really master the circumstances around me, or the opposite ? Was it a lost or a G-dly day ? What a Birthday gift of the Rebbe !
Thank G-d for Chabad! 43 years ago I went to study in Crown Heights! Always keep my studies close. Your outlook on life will never be the same after you learn about Judaism. Happy Pesach! To the comment of the last person, your body is wonderful for this earth. Enjoy it while you can because you will feel differently when Moshiach comes.
Thank you for your kind words. You're right. This material body is a precious gift of G-d for our journey down here. And I know what I've to do and what I've to develop. To find balance first and at the same time to develop a heart full of His Love to reflect His Love. Nothing belongs to me, everything belongs to Him. There's a big difference between the relative and the Absolute Truth. Knowing much is good, to use it in every moment much better. Sometimes we're strong n sometimes we're weak. And sometimes like in my case, we feel tired like a pupil at school - and this planet ( not to say world ) for me is a school - A day in school. Just some wise and powerful words from the Rebbe which I really love n revitalized me, discovered during the Farbrengen : "I hope you will materialize the lesson in action". B'ezrat Hashem I'll succeed ... materialize the lesson in action. I'll keep this words of power in my mind.
This talk of the rebbe, cames at the right moment. This year I'll become 60. And to be honest, sometime I'm feeling tired of Life in my body. Because this body is like a prison. And sometime I wish I could go back again into the light ( if I see what happened all over this planet ), according my level. So I will study this lesson to find a way out of that labyrinth. ( Just to give you a feedback )
Sometimes - a language is a very weak instrument. How can one describe with words what he feels inside, when he is connected... while listening... to him ? Saw just the first 25 min. Tomorrow b'ezrat hashem will be another day to follow... todah rabah meod for the invitation
Is anyone aware of where this Farbrengen and others like it, are available in written form, ie- English? Toda
I was there and it certainly had a profound effect on my family and life to this day. There was
a certain awe and incredible spirit of incredulous feelings never before felt in prayer or thought.
To my memory the Rebbe spoke for almost 4 hours and I did not understand the words but felt
words were directed to me personally.
After the speech at 3 AM the Rebbe with so much spirit handed out to children woken up from
their beds in the community to receive a Tanya and a dollar bill from the hand of the Rebbe.
No words...Just a full heart. Thank you, Rebbe.
words what were the words of the nigun they were singing when the rebbe came in
and again...Thank You Chabad.org...again
Speechless dumbfounded teary and alone but no longer lonely...no it will never be sad again because through hearing and drinking each and every word of The Rebbe I can now better access G-d with true joy.
Thank you Chabad.org for bringing the Rebbe right into my home and into my heart almost as if I would have been there and then.
wow R' Manis looks so young. (though his voice didnt change a bit)
chizuck thanks this was really inspirational
Every moment counts! Wonderful lesson. I have passed this on to my father. A wonderful message for all.
inspiring As we age, we do grow physically weaker but growing spiritually stronger is all that really matters. I wish I would have met him, but given this website, I can in a way meet him. Very inspiring! I have a teenage son, who thinks everything is a big deal, and an 83 year old mother who thinks everything is a big deal. I think at my age of 58 that the only thing that is a big deal is doing good deeds and getting closer to G-d. Nothing else matters. My mom, husband and son are in my life and I always try to make them remember that growth of a shining soul is what matters, and if they can solve the "big deal" concerns of their age by helping someone else, (even through prayer) then G-d will help them with their "big deal". And anyway with G-d on their side, how can they loose!
The Rebbe It's incredible that on every subject The Rebbe was so lucid and correct and simplified all concepts which previously were difficult or obtuse.

The Rebbe's Menachem Mendel Schneerson's heartful speech has impressed me very deeply and I thank you for this wonderful gift!
(And even from the tecnic point of view, ths seems incredibly clear.)
Beautiful litvishe yiddish Why is Yiddish not taught in the yeshivas today....what a loss!!!
Time management The Rebbe's lesson about how to manage my time is just what i needed to hear this morning! What a lesson!
Passover Farbrengen with the Rebbe May we all bring down the merit of G-d presents out of proper service to His commandments and to G-d as the One true G-d, Blessed Be His Name.
Today I wrote down the english translation of the first 25 min of his speech to work with. I would like to have a little booklet. On the right side should be the original text of his speech, on the left should be the english and in my case also the german translation. So 3 languages in one booklet. With comments, cross references, etc. including explanation of yiddish words, which were used, like Farbrengen. For myself, I'm more then happy to received this precious gift with english translations of his 80th birthday, 36 years later, in righteous memory. But many times I missed his own way to express this wisdom. So - is a booklet like this in preparation or maybe already exist ? If yes - wonderful, otherwise would be also wonderful. Either way I'll start with the left sides... In advance of the end of the week, I wish you from my heart : a good shabbes
