Years ago I was a USMC SSgt and my Regiment was deployed. I appointed the Regt's Dadd and had to remain behiind. Dadd was Dependant Affairs During Deployment. The Col's wife brought a very distraught wife to my office. The woman was a nervous wreck as she explained to me all she was going through. When finished, I told her "I'm a single parent myself, so I understand what your going through because while your husband is deployed, your acting as a single parent. However, I'm not the one to help you, you need to go to Navy Relief, they have a lot of servicemens wives who can help you with your needs while your on deployment." I didn't say it, but the last person a wife of a deployed serviceman needs is a single man, or even a married man get involved with helping her. That is why the divorce rate at Camp Lejune was 65%. To many Marines getting involved with married women while their husband was gone. They need support from other women, not from men. May God bless them. Reply

My heart goes out to all Israeli soldiers. Thank you for your fearlessness and your great heroism. You defend the Holy Land with pride and integrity. It is a difficult task because of people with inferiority complex's. That becomes jealousy and hate. I have seen them trying to spit on your soldiers. Hamas and its soldiers etc.. IDF soldiers want to enjoy their lives and be happy. I wish and dream for peace in Israel and for its citizens. I may never see peace. But my only trust, The L-rd will. I find peace and contentment. Shalom and Ahavah to all. Reply
