Israel is about to invade Lebanon-of which only about 27-20 Jews still live. I sincerely hope for their sakes and of future Jewish generations that they look upon the IDF as liberators and that they leave Lebanon and go up to Israel and live as jews Reply

I recently started reading Brigitte Gabriel's book "Because They Hate" She was a child living in Southern Lebanon before the PLO moved in and spent half her childhood suffering through the war the radical PLO terrorists inspired the muslims to wage against the non muslims in the nation. It brings tears to my eyes reading what she lived through at the hands these evil people. It brings tears to my eyes that this is now happening in Southern Israel and what some Israeli's are suffering through. I recommend this book for all who do not have 1st hand experience dealing with these barbaric people so they learn how evil they really are. Many people in the US are duped by the lies of the terrorists into believing the PLO and muslim terrorists are the victims and Israel the bad guys because they are ignorant of the truth. She goes into detail her experience when she finally went to Israel, she saw how loving the Israeli's are and it changed her life dramatically. Reply

I love Metula and have spent a lot of time there. Love Lishansky Hotel and Ha Tachna Restaurant... I am in Billings, MT and made Aliyah 10 years ago. This is so painful. I wish you blessings and hope, somehow, that Israel is safe:

Many of you are asking how Brocha Leah is doing, and where she is right now. I asked her to update us. Here is what she wrote:

Hi Chana,
For the past 2 days, Metulla has been declared a closed army zone- שטח צבאי סגור. These last few days the enemy shot missiles, and one house was directly hit. The terrorists keep on trying to come in through the border...

This morning, the army announced that ALL residents of Metulla must leave ASAP. The authorities are organizing hotels in Tiberias for families that don't have where to go.

My family and I went to be by my in-laws who live in Moshav Avital, near Afula. Thank G-d, we are OK. We are praying together with all the Jewish people for salvation.

She then continued to write:
These days we are busy calling and being in touch with people we know. The daughter of a woman I know who was our close neighbor, is missing!! She was at the party and managed to escape, but near Shderot, a car with terrorists shot at them. They can't find her!! They don't know if she's alive or not; if she was taken hostage or not....it is such a tragedy!!
I call her and try to support her. We also asked the Shluchim in the city where she lives now to go check that their mezuzot are kosher to provide protection.
Her name is עדן בת אורין (Eden bat Orin). Please pray for her as well as all our brothers and sisters.
May we see G-d's salvation immediately! Reply

My oh my! She has such wisdom, faith and strength. Thank you for this wonderful vid. If there is any way to keep us informed on how things are going with her and her family I would appreciate it. I will pray for continued protection for her and her family. And I will look hard every day for little miracles. Reply

But other people died - how do you know who He will protect? Reply

Bochur October 12, 2023
in response to Gayle Slurzberg:

what happened in the past is not for us to question, we just have to strengthen our faith in Hashem for the future with confidence that he will protect us, and Hashem will surely mirror that with blessings and revealed good.

As per your question: How can opposites be true (on one hand people were killed and on the other hand i am certain that Hashem will show me revealed good)? The answer to that is - that Hashem, being the one unlimited G-d, who supersedes nature and understanding, to him 2 opposites don't really contradict each other, because he sees the world from a different point of view,
So too: Us jews who have a piece of G-d within us - have the power to be certain that he will show us the revealed good, even though at the same time it doesn't seem to be revealed good.

I hope that's a good enough explanation....

May we merit to ultimately see the revealed good with the coming of moshiach speedily in our days! Reply

For God's believers, the body may die, but their soul lives on. The soul goes to sleep awaiting the day He calls them forth from the grave. 2 Kings 4, Elisha calls upon God to raise the son of the woman of Shunem back to life. God has power and authority over everything. Reply
