True happiness is the highest form of selflessness.
There, in that state, there is no sense of self—not even awareness that you are happy. True happiness is somewhere beyond “knowing.” Beyond self.
All the more so when you bring joy to others.

Beyond Me
Beyond my thoughts, desires, intentions, self concern, judging others, rejection of others, if a group of such people mentally aim at feeling the joy of passing the light of love, kindness, goodness between them - then this divine energy will pass through this group to flow through all humanity.
It only requires a relatively small group to concentrate their minds to aim towards this divine nature, then they will draw true happiness which will be spread between all humanity.

I know also this feeling...
Although so inconspicuous...
I know this feeling. I do know. It is almost material when I feel it.
But Heavens seem to deny this "materiality"to me.
Who knows, who knows one day, still in this life in this earth, I will embrace this feeling for never let it go anymore.
Who knows...

True Happiness " The Highest" I think you hit the nail on the head Rabbi. As I look back on 2010 I am able to say the Peace of G-d and true happiness are The Highest. And this is almost unexplainable. As best as can be expressed: to me this is as you said bringing joy to others because we recieve the joy of our heavenly Father, which is fresh, like manna for the gathering every morning and tastes as sweet as the honeycomb. It is knowing that HE is in complete control and I need only listen and obey, knowing HE will empower all HE wants to be accomplished by this frail human. Thank you Rabbi Freeman Reply

Selflessness vs purely mundane attack from others.
My house roof was leaking and I called a roof repair guy. he intentionally did harm to roof instead of repairing it to get money again and again.
In his kind of purely mundane daily struggle, what should i do to handle the situation selflessly and wisely?
