Nothingness is the medium through which all energy moves,
from above to below and from below to above.
Below, in the human heart, a sense of nothingness that transcends ego.
Above, a Nothingness that transcends all boundaries and planes.
The nothingness below fuses with the Nothingness above,
locking heaven and earth in an intimate embrace.
That is why G‑d is found amongst the truly humble.

I often wonder about consciousness. What drives consciousnes? One Dr. One drive. One driver. And wonder itself. What is beauty but the soul's recognition of a deep truth.

Nothing There is "no thing", just G-d, and He is One. Where you think nothing exists, there He is. If you think there is any independent existance outside of G-d, or that there is a place where nohting exists, then you wrong! Reply

The Sound of Music
I am thinking of this because a friend wrote her daughter is singing these songs and loves them. The song, of course, well known, goes, "Nothing comes from nothing, nothing ever could.... somewhere in my youth and childhood, I must have done something, something, good."
It appears a major philosophical conundrum that out of ex nihilo we got a world, and so it appears people believe in the substance of thing part of nothing, as nothing IS something. Hard to get one's head around all this.
We do avoid the void, largely, as in ein sof. And thee are many "language" connects that do appear to go with the concept of the void. As in wisdom, being for sofia. As in Ezekiel's chariot having sapphires. Sappho iwas a poetess of love. And sapir, for sapphire is again, about knowledge or wisdom. There is a deep quality of amazement to words themselves, and a story contained within. I know it. I write about it. I believe everyone will, catch up.
It's about The Music. Accord. A chord.

Nothingness The playing with "words" is a very dangerous thing to do. Here is another one of those "words" which brings puzzle to the mind. "Nothingness. As defined in the dictionary: it something non existent. Is G-d Almighty non existent? The state of nothing? If what is meant on this Daily Dose is that "Nothingness" is the source from which all energy moves, then can it be "Nothing? If I would say that my teacher, who passed away some years back, was the source of my inspiration. But, today he was just a dream because he is no more. Would that mean that I learn what I learnt from "Nothing"? Again, I most imply that Hashem, blessed be He, gave us Torah through our teacher, prophet, Moses. Is He nonexistent? Please forgive me again my dear Rabbi. I need to understand words. I come from a Spanish background. Therefore, I need to look into the dictionary whenever I do not understand the concept of a word. I do not wish to offend you, just learn from your insight. Thank you for your teachings. Reply
Nothingness
The understanding of this comment might be helped by a bit of knowledge of Quantum Physics. It reduces the "philosophical" to a real quantified algebraic explanation. (Although one does not "need" the algebra.)
Nothingness is described in Quantum Physics (also known as the Void, or Ein Sof) as containing more energy in a small "amount" than all of the energy that is known to us from the suns, moons, etc in the entire universe...Hard to put your arms around this?
I hypothesise that the light created on day 1 is that source of energy which we might learn to harness with more information and expansion of our perception and ability and desire to probe additional dimensions.

I have different approach to the concept of nothing.
Here it is:
Death Is Not Nothing
There is no nothing
for nothing means nothing
and nothing can only come from nothing
But death is not nothing
It clearly is something -
the end of physical life.
Fear death if you must
as something to fear.
But don't equate it with nothing.
And let me assure you
to help you feel better,
there's nothing to fear from nothing.

Nothingness does not exist G-d is the medium through which all energy moves. He fills the heavens above, the Earth below, and us too! From His point of view, He is one, and all is one with Him. For our point of view due to our material garments covering His spirit, we at times feel alone...like nothing is out there. In reality, there is no inside or outside, and upon this realization two becomes one, and what appears as nothingness, becomes everything. Reply

I understand human nothingness.
But a b o v e , is there nothingness???
For me, how I can grasp it, everything is filled with G-d. He transcends all boundaries and planes.. That we see/feel/sense nothing, does not mean that there i s nothing. In my imagination everything is filled with H i m .
And only somebody/something can embrace.
What do I understand wrong?

I felt anxious reading this. I imagined the hungry, easily deceived people who search for the divine thinking, “Ah! So if I open myself up to be nothingness, then I will find ‘god’!” It seems a reckless thing to post online without counsel. Is not unclear directions to invite connection with anything below as well as above?
