A sharp mind will find a truth for itself.
A humble spirit will find a truth higher than itself.
Truth is not the property of intellectuals, but of those who know how to escape their own selves.

Truth Part 1
Truth is nebulous filtered through earth-bound perceptions in which we are without choice or cause confined. Most people view the world limited within one's own self only aware of what circulates around themselves at the moment for that is their sole frame of reference. This self-centered condition is not their fault; it's part of our current existence and constraint.
Intelligence, education, experience, and disposition enhance perspectives beyond one's self. The first and last two characteristics are inherited and the other two are acquired.
The less obstructed are perceptions by our own self, the more accurate should be our understanding of reality (truth). As an example, competent scientists with objectivity and unbiasness will attempt to observe and evaluate reality. However, this is never entirely correct (Isaiah 55:8-9).
We are all comprised of two basic parts, --spiritual and physical. Eventually, the latter returns to dust (2nd Law of Thermodynamics) while the former rejoins its origin (1st Law of Thermodynamics).
Those who reside more in the spiritual realm of life tend to be selfless while those who become more physical are generally selfish. In juxtaposition, G-D created both environments in dialectic interaction to keep us operational because HE knows our inadequacies.

Brings Back The Memories I have an enzymatic disease that prevents me from being able to consume gluten and casein. Before I knew about this, I felt like the humblest person on earth when it came to auditory comprehension. In this subject, on a professionally administrated test, I scored in the bottom 1 percent of people. The test wasn't even sensitive enough to determine how retarded I was with my ability to listen. All around me was nothing but people having conversations, which I could not understand, despite that I had fabulous hearing, reading comprehension, and vocabulary. Being humble was a terror. I was expected to go to college and learn, but I couldn't understand the words coming out of professors mouths. In high school, I had relied on my ability to read, but college was lecture based so I nearly flunked out. Yet, I could work at McDonald's and even there I would be oppressed listening to folks talk, but not being able to comprehend it. My world was very lonely for this. Reply
Rubenstein I know this is not an appropriate venue, but I keep seeing my my maiden name Rubenstein in a lot of places. I would love to meet family members if any, for there is no one left here (Los Angeles) left in my direct family. I am 60 yrs so many have passed away. If you would or e willing to connect with another Rubenstein it would be a great joy for me, my daughter and granddaughter. My Maiden name is Martine Irene Rubenstein, My father's name was Leon Rubenstein, and my grandfather's name was Jacob Rubenstein. My ancestry is Poland and possibly Russia. I hope to hear from you and hopefully be related. In the mid 70's we had found family in Chicago, we lost contact but maybe there still is relatives. B"H" Martine Rubenstein Reply
Who Owns Truth
So true, so true...Because it is with the Higher relationship that one can escape its own self, which can be very frightening. And it is with such relation that self can be transformed without fear.
Thank you

Grasping the TRUTH Beyond your Intellect
TRUTH lies above our intellect - above our mode of reasoning and rationale.
TRUTH is found by rising above our own desires which make calculations within our reasoning (intellect) to achieve pleasures for the self in your current 'world'.
We need to work above this intellect towards attaining the TRUTH of the purpose of our being, the goal of our existence here - to reveal the spiritual world - a world beyond our reasoning to benefit the self. The time has come to change direction of our worldly reasoning. Start to examine every move, every thought to check if it is spiritual or egoistic, then transform it into a spiritual intention - for the benefit of others. The moment you categorize these opposite forces the "Surrounding Light" fills and develops your spiritual vessel enabling you to reveal the TRUE Reality.

TRUTH? As a simple soul, I find truth in what I see and can prove. And Torah proves all that is necessary for me. Reply

I guess it all depends upon what the individual refines as "Truth".
For many their "Truth" is that their GOD wants nothing more then for them to live fulfilled lives and it matters little to them with regards to how they come to possess their abundances/Blessings of'which they tote about to others with swaying principles.. (as if flooded with Hypocrisy and double standards).
While to others a 'truth' is not in the Quality or abundances of Materialism or the measure of ones self righteousness through ones possessions.., rather in the understanding of a sole divine principle.., the only principle that matters in a world of principalities that run abound.. truth be known.. this world has always dealt with a spiritual struggle of competing Principles that sway for individualism in a world once void of tora where now only one principle is described in its wholesomeness and is 'true' and when seen with the spiritual conscience it cannot be swayed where as the Talmud even sways Moses' laws.

Truth
In finite math, it is true that 1 + 1 = 2.
In infinite math, it is true that 1 + 1 = 1.
So we can see that truth depends on the system under use.

I'm reminded of Louis Armstrong,-
the famous trumpet player:
He was asked by a magazine writer to rate some music (by others) and he declined.
When asked why not, he replied-
"When music is good I can hear G-d in it. When it is bad I can hear G-d above it."
Nonetheless, Rabbi Freeman, Jews tend to lead with the mind more then the adherents of the other 'houses' before G-d.
Yes, Truth is not the property of intellectuals,yet-
G-d has good reason for all those Jewish intellectuals.
Sometimes methinks you need to go back and rediscover why that is

Truth
If you're of this reality and not that, then reality is easy; otherwise, too hard.
In my reality, truth is well defined.

Not the property of Intellectuals I found that last phrase very strong because I have known alot of intellectuals and they can intellectualize and philosophize about life till kingdom come but they don't realize that the actual plan of their individual lives was set in motion by G-d himself and that itisn't about what you want or even what you need-grab this grab that- I always thought that was funny-even when I was a young girl of twenty I thought it was all very funny maybe because of its insensitivity and rerouting the truth all the time that it was never about me-never was, never will be.-As I grew up I began to accept the fact that it wasn't about me and that G-d sets a plan in motion for me like he does everyone? I hope so. Reply
Truth cannot be owned any more then beauty be measured or kindness be weighted. Truth is a value we should all possess, and hold to at all costs, its value cannot be measured. It is one of the traits that places a man among the wise, the honorable, not among fools and liars. Isnt it ironic no one likes a liar!
