The world is a place of constant change and unrest.
Each point in time is distinct from the point before and the point after.
Each point in space is its own world, with its own conditions and state of being.
It is a world of fragments, a perpetual rush of traffic and noise.
Look at your own life: You do so many different things, one after the other without any apparent connection between them.
Inner peace is when every part of you and every facet of your day is moving in the same direction.
When you serve one G‑d, have one purpose, and all you do orbits around the meaning you have found in life.
When you have purpose, you have peace.

When young one wants to achieve, and run from point to point Retrospectively, is an important word in this assessment because the trials of life give us the necessary perspective- as Jews- to think more clearly. When young we accept what our parents, and teachers tell us, but as grownup individuals we are more independent. That factor should tell us that we are not alone ,and that even as children H" was guarding our own way. In return, H' s request from us is to follow the Torah's commandments starting with the Ten Statements, and guide the next generation to continue m' dor l'dor. "Am Segula" means a group trained with eihical responsibilities and the reward, indeed, is inner peace of mind given that guidance. We are not alone in this earthly journey.
