Greetings and blessings,
In response to your letter of 8 Adar II:
Our Sages (Avos 3:5) have already ruled that “Whoever takes the yoke of the Torah upon himself will have the yoke of the ruling kingdom and the yoke of worldly affairs removed from him.” Now, “the attributes of the Holy One, blessed be He, follow the pattern measure for measure.”1 One who is actually written down and enrolled in Tzivos HaShem [G‑d’s army] — (not merely a member in potential, for that is true with regard to every Jew) — will as a matter of course “leave with an upraised arm.”2
The concept of Tzivos HaShem has been explained in the series of maamarim issued in connection with the passing.3
With thanks, I received the package with the copies of letters from my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe, that you sent.
Although I have not yet focused on looking through them as would be appropriate, nor in the list of sichos included there, I hope to do so in the near future. I will then notify you of those that are lacking in the archive I maintain.
With blessings for a joyous Purim,
