Keili Atah: A Classic Chassidic Song

One of the ten melodies composed by the Alter Rebbe. The words "Keili atah v'odekah elokai aromimekah -- You are my G-d and I will give thanks to You; You are my G-d and I will exalt You" are from Psalms 118:28.

That's because Keli is one of G-d's names which should not be pronounced unless we are reciting the Psalm in its entirety. Reply

Why the "k"? Please, can anybody say why the niggun ads the "k" befor E-li?, Becouse that's not in the original hebrew in Psalms.
