When the Maccabees recaptured the Holy Temple, they found that the enemy had contaminated all the olive oil.
So they searched until they found one small jug with the seal of the High Priest.
They lit the Menorah with that oil, and it burned miraculously for eight days.
When we look inside our own selves, the temple of our soul, there are times when nothing seems pure or sincere.
But there is a place, in the deepest recesses of the soul, that always remains pure.
Discover that small jug of oil. Ignite it. Let it shine. Its light will perform miracles.
Surely, the duration of the time for which the oil burns depends on the size of its flame and the supporting and feeding wick. Then the miricle of the Chanukah oil may have been due to the high preast having a good sence of economics and of how this speed of consumption is set.
If we too have in our souls a small flask, then we would also be wise to burn it as slowly as we can. And what seems like a miricle is actutually the result of a good understanding of how by using sensible economics we can better spend the way we generate the light.

Your comment is one way to look at it. But another perspective is that I believe our LRD is still working miracles.
Shanah Tovah!
Of course, the miracle is that we have the ability to choose the course of action leading to flourishing.
