The Rebbe’s most common response to someone who had done something positive:
It is our nature, all of us, that we never attain half our goal. If we earn $100, we want to make $200. And when we reach $200, we strive for $400.
If so, our acts of kindness must grow by the same rules.
A number to multiply One gives toasts to up high, but it is He that fills the vessel, so that you may rise each new day and give thanks to Him that has made you full. Reply

Acts of kindness
It's so easy to also fall into the trap of being negative to other Jews as well, especially from Frum to reformed and vice versa. May 2008 become a more cohesive year for all Jews.

so we should be greedy for kindness? to give it? i find the biggest challenge is to be kind to myself, it all starts there.
i have found that there is a mixing of engergies, of souls, to an extent, both in the giving and in the taking, be it of charity, be it money or some other kind of favor. when survival depends on faith, faith hangs in the balance with fear. if it tips to far toward fear, we become unkind, or at least i do. faith in kindness itself, in a kind and compassionate, forgiving G-d helps.
so we should be eager to be kind to ourselves, it will eventually radiate out, i believe that is what G-d wants from us.

Daily Doses When I read a particularly poignant Daily Dose pertinent to my life at the moment, I print it fold it in thirds and place it upright in my kitchen to remind myself for many days. I placed the Stay Put- daily dose some time back and it has helped me hold steady in a very difficult place for me and see G-D in wonderous ways within the situation. Daily Dose stays with me and helps me hold a right course throughout the week. I am grateful for the concise wisdom shared. It is easily entreated, chewable, digestable and SO nourishing. Thank you. a higher existence
The higher we reach, as we do for others, share with others as we would do for our immediate family mambers, leads us to a higher a closer level to the Oneness of it all!
What better way to go through life then as a family of "One" and all of the beauty attached to it. The same way as you view the harmony and magnificence of nature and it's co-dependence, so too is it for us in a potential state to be realized as we unite physical with our spiritual...

I am one of those "women."
Rabbi Freeman, mazal tov on today having newer high tech design and color and ads, but I have always, every day for years, read and reread your DAILY DOSE when in simple, plain, unadorned black and white, and integrated the Rebbe's teachings into my heart and soul, and easily forwarded Daily Dose to friends and family to encourage their "acts of kindness".
The newness looks commercial and like everything else now on the web. I have an MBA (from a Jewish university, and I specialize in holy PR, marketing, etc.) but I loved (and now miss) the unembellished, unpretentious earlier appearance of Daily Dose, written in the holy light that the words were originally shared by The Rebbe.
Yasher Koach on all you good inspiring and creative work.

Faster Better More As each of us strives for more, we need to ensure we bring everyone else along with us, via acks of kindness. If not, then you find yourself alone, ahead of the pack so to speak, hence vulnerable. Reply
Rebbe's comments ( Higher & Higher) Simply put, no truer words have ever been spoken. To receive is to give, to give is to receive. Reply
Higher and higher So don't be surprised when women seek increased and increased ritual and shul involvement... for such is the nature of holiness. One taste leads to a hunger for another taste. Try to remember that this *is* the way of holiness. Women are not going to find in the home or the shopping mall that which they find in ritual or in shul. Reply
