Infinite Opportunity O to realize such an overwhelming truth - to be there where "every act - be an uplifting of the soul". How to connect with the Infinite, the Eternal Father, it is not a matter of understanding - the understanding will follow - it is a matter of faith and trust, not to forget the Everlasting, but using every faculty of brain and body through trust and obey. Connected
Some may have difficulty connecting with Gd. Especially those who have not tried for a year or ten years or ever.
To those, I say, "You've got to prime the pump!"
Look in the prayer book. Find a prayer that speaks to you, & say it, in whatever language you choose. As you say it, think of the fact that your soul is a part of Gd, that you are always connected to Gd all the time. All you have to do is to know this and to let Gd in.
& by the way, no matter what is wrong with our lives, we HAVE lives. We are alive, we have life. That is amazing! That is a miracle. Why should we be here? Why should anything be here at all? Yet here we are, supported by this vast ecology, within this huge universe, knowing that the entire universe is contained within Gd, & that Gdness enables us to exist.
So, there is wonder. I wonder how all this happened? There is gratitude: I'm so glad to be here and be a part of all this!
There is the prayer you chose.
Now let Gd in! Connect!

New layout
I find that the new layout of "daily dose" is less conducive to meditation.
If the Rebbe himself spoke directly into my spiritual ear, he would not clutter the message with any distractions, so important are these words.
Please consider going back to the old, bold, less commercial format.

I make my apology for not directly giving my comment, mostly it takes a few days to answer.
There are many people I know who are living in illness, so I have to visite some of them and if it's possible I help them . It takes many time of my own. Mostly I go to the Church in the morning or in the evening. It is not so important how much we help, but that we help where we can.
