In general, when doctors disagree, follow the opinion of the majority of the experts.
But in the case of surgery, if there is uncertainty it is often better to refrain, and trust that the Healer of All Flesh will provide an alternative way to heal and strengthen you.


When progress comes from the minority. Following the majority consensus may be the conservative way of thinking, but I know that improvements in practice come when someone is willing to go beyond conventional thinking. It is often I, the doctor, who must put his faith in the healing power of G-d and not in what I have been taught by the princes of the profession as dogma.
