Out of all the days in a year, I’m sure we can come up with one act of kindness and something beautiful designating each particular day, since I hardly expect that the same thing happens each and every day of the entire year. G d created a world of astounding beauty and all we have to do is open our eyes to see and our ears to hear and listen and our minds to comprehend and our hearts to accept. When it comes to kindness put a smile on your face, open your mouth to say a few nice words and extend your arms and legs outward to shake a hand, open a door or walk a senior citizen to their car. I’m sure a few of these handy reminders will do the trick. Reply

For that depends on the individual. Greeting G-D with prayers and songs gives us an assurance our day has started right and no matter what comes our way through kindness and love our day can be peaceful with calm assurance know today we have shined our light well and good. G*d's morning paint palette In gratitude, with the dark and newness of each day, I rise before the sun and wait for G*d's Eastern paint palette, take out my camera, look toward Jerusalem, and record G*d's "act", the gift of "beauty." Modah Ani Here it comes... Reply

Each day It is so easy to go through the day - any day - and be focused inward or to focused on accomplishing. To find an act of kindness in the day points me beyond myself and reframes my day and myself. The act of kindness that I find and point to in the day is a reminder to me and other of the mercy and goodess of G-d. It puts everything back in perspective and leads me to give thanks.. Reply

to R. Tzvi Freeman ~ When I was to say a blessing at a family gathering for my wife's birthday, I thought of this Daily Dose, and asked everyone at the table to say something they were thankful for starting with asking my dad. It made for a good dinner.
