A doctor, the Talmud says, is licensed by G‑d to heal.
Which is wondrous.
So get a good doctor. Follow his instructions. Respect his divine license.
But if he lifts his hands and declares there’s little hope—that you can ignore.
Because never was he given a license to prophesy.

I do not know where (if at all) in Torah it specifically states that this also applies to the "limited" license to practice law, but it does. I know of a law office that for 30 years almost exclusively took on financially challenged clients with cases turned away from other lawyers who said the cases were impossible to win and not worthwhile to try (especially without requiring the payment of great legal fees). G-D is the best Advocate.

Again I believe we can be healed with a good doctor, and Hashem but no one is talking about if we also have to do teshuva and not just during the High Holidays!
