Down to Earth

Rabbi: I would truly appreciate if you define Tikkun Olam, in its original meaning . I see it being misused for all kind of political purposes including helping the Palestinians destroy Israel. Yes, by Jews! No way ! Second, . making ourselves better , and this world better is tied to the best behavior under the Mitzvot, and if we achieve this we can delve in other areas such as Kabbalah but not the other way around. Yes? Spirituality in "der luft" gets us nowhere Yes? Reply

Yes, I agree with all that you have conveyed and that we must be patient and always persevere in bringing Heaven down to earth until the coming of Moshiach, but as things still are, there are plenty of times when I want to scream, saying, “Get me the heck outa here!” Even King David and several of the prophets have said or inferred something quite similar at one time or another! All these persevered, and so will I! Reply

By eating the fruit of the tree of knowledge, we identified with what we “know”. In other words, with our bodies and growing experience.
By identifying with our bodies we misidentify as “I” the word that points to the actuality of “I” but as knowledge/experience, as the word that is not the actuality. All this stuff we learn of higher spiritual worlds and all that is merely imagination and has been leading us down a merry path that goes nowhere.
There is an actuality of “I” which is the only Self there is, and is projected as Divine Mind. We learn what we need by careful study of the Tanach. Kabbalah, the Zohar, etc., is our projection as human mind. We must ask ourselves am I the conceptual entity, or am I the Actuality? Success in this will quiet the mind and open us up individually to direct contact with G-d. This is called Self-Realization.
This is what must be done first. Reply

G-d is trying his best to contact each of us in every way possible, to make us listen to his divine messages, and then to see that his intents and purposes are really for the benefit of both of us. Please, open your hearts to hear the "still small voice" that resides within each of us. Reply

Gd has given us a beautiful world. And He has given us the privilege of serving Him to express our love.

Why would I want to manipulate Him into serving me by getting me into Heaven, when I can serve Him and help Him to bring Heaven down to earth?

Back To Heaven Once we lived in heaven, G_dliness dwelled among us. G_d's Light sustained us as one peaceful network.

Then Cain erupted within us - a force that obliterated or 'killed' the divine Light, the 'Abel' that sustained us in peace.

Now in our time we must recognize that egoistic force that separates us and destroys the peace we once experienced. Instead we feel we live in a separate place, Earth where hatred and crises are manifest.

Let's work together with one mind and heart to overcome the Cain within us and allow G_d's Love to put us back in His place, Heaven. Reply

Down to earth - when I visited the great synagogue in Rome Italy I saw magnificent thrones created here on earth by men who believe that Hashem is King of the Universe. These material expressions on display reminded me of where our King resides. Material things will pass away but His Kingdom is without end. What a beautiful teaching that stirs our hearts to leave this earth and look to our Creator. Hashem our Creator and everlasting King without end. Reply

Heaven on Earth:to be in the world and not of it A place to realize the delusion of separation, reward and punishment, good and evil, ahead, and behind, me and you, mine and yours, win and lose, hell and heaven. And to realize this:

with every painful, stumbling step we take to become wholly loving in thought, word and action, wholly non violent in thought and deed, we get up again more fit to continue on, more liberated from the 95% of subconscious thoughts, negative and demeaning, into greater mindfulness of who we really are, and why we are here.

Seeing Heaven while on Earth (re Brookln & Esdras) The author of the Book of Zohar, (Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai), merited to see heaven, the spiritual world of forces that is concealed from our senses. He described the struggle to attain each higher level and the qualities of love experienced there.

Only with G_d's help can we rise above our egoistic nature, step by step, like bar Yochai. We have to learn to receive the abundance from G_d not for our benefit, but to give back contentement to Him - partners in unconditional love.

The Zohar is now open to all over the past decade. Our sages of 2000 years ago, advised when this happens - the time for our real effort to merit redemption has arrived.

The world is now global and it's entire infrastructure is interconnected - G_d is forcing us to act in mutual responsibilty towards each other. The world is our school to learn mutual reciprocity as the quality in the world beyond our egoistic senses. Reply

On the Separation of Spirit that Leads Many Astray My wish is that more people would wake up to the sovereignty of the Lord. Too many have shaken their fists in anger at Gd. Too many have judged Gd, and deemed that reality is controlled by an evil one or that because of holocaust they believe god to be weak in power. They go to their graves in hideous drama. It is sad that many worship a Gd that is constantly fails them, bringing pain. The Torah couldn't make it any clearer that our condition is reflective of our relationship with Gd or lack thereof. It is sad to read the writings of people that have severed the strings that bind us with each other and our maker. Reply

The Star of David Yes, that is the eternal journey toward Oneness in which we were created from that still point and then to relearn what we know in a dualistic world, without which the tikkun could not take place. Reply

Heaven on earth This is the true meaning of the Star of David. The triangle pointing down joins the triangle pointing up and the two fuse.

The involution of the Spirit (triangle of Sprit ruach elokim pointing down to dwell in the form. and the evolution of the form, to join with Spirit, thus realizing G-d within us. SELF realization. G-d in Man and Man in G-d.
