Impossible? Really?
There's been a strain of thinking in recent Daily Doses that I just don't understand, nor do I think it squares with our sacred text.
When the prophets, on behalf of our G-d, decry the waywardness in all its manifestations in Israel and Judah, do you really believe those who had transgressed had not knowingly separated themselves from our G-d? Or, at least, they acted in such defiance of G-d's expectations that it was tantamount to a knowing separation. The prophets are full of accounts of our people separating themselves from our G-d, as is the case throughout the Torah.
In the Song of the Vineyard, in Isaiah, for example, the prophet on behalf of his Beloved moans about this separation. Moses constantly moans about this separation.
It is in "our nature" to choose - life or death, to cleave to G-d or to separate. Our better nature is to seek G-d and live. Respectfully, I think it's misleading to say our nature is such it's impossible to choose otherwise.

Knowingly Separate
Not True! It starts with the Tree of Knowledge and keeps going downhill from there. The Torah tells us that (except for Abraham) it's everyone's nature to knowingly separate themselves from GOD.
It does not say much to our wanting to be GOD's people when GOD has to coerce us by holding a mountain over our heads and threaten to kill us is we don't accept the Torah. No one else knowingly wanted it either did we but it seems the Torah and GOD is better than death buy GOD!
We worship idols to this day. Why? It's our natural state. We do not follow the 10 commandments. Why? It's our natural state. Our natural state is to knowingly be separate from GOD. Just read the Tanach and the Talmud, such punishments and suffering for not obeying, does that sound like our natural state is to not separate from GOD?
That said, time to daven.

Inseparable Soul and Values
G-d in our souls and values.

Inseparable Souls When God created man (which was in the image and likes of himself) by breathing into man nostrils the breath of life: which is his spirit. From then on man became a living soul in search for his connection to his creator. We have always heard of the phrase soul-mates and never come to a conclusion that we are lacking cohesion with in the fabric of our soul. That is to say man has to exist with God in God and God in him. Or else he is lost with out God. Reply

Hard Times There have been times in my life that were very hard to deal with. Times where I thought that I could just run from G-d. But the more I tried to hide, the more I was drawn back to HaShem. The reason is because I knew G-d deeply within and without my whole life. He is my life.
