To Know G-D....
The statement that "Everything was created as a means to know G‑d" runs counter to our tradition of that man can not know G-D. And since we can not know G-D then all the writings that describe G-D or tell us how to know him are pure fiction. ".... man cannot find out the work that is done under the sun. However much man may toil in seeking, he will not find it out. Even though a wise man claims to know, he cannot find it out." Ecclesiastes 8:17
A truly humble person or Rebbe in this case would say: I remember daily that I cannot and will not be able to grasp your mind and your ways and I will not delude others by making up or justifying traditions that claim to know what GOD is for that is clearly violating the sin of placing a stumbling block before a blind person(referred to as lifnei iver lo sitten michshol) and "Thou shalt not make unto thee a graven image, nor any manner of likeness, of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water un

Einstein Thank you for the series of Daily Doses that counter Einstein's atheistic claims with teachings of the Rebbe. The mainstream publicity this recently discovered Einstein letter received most certainly has weakened the faith of many people. Please continue to print any relevant references/teachings of the Rebbe that put Einstein in proper perspective and encourage other publications to do so. Reply
