Leaps and Landing

Landing Place With our desire and intention to reach a higher place than this material world, G_d raises us to a higher level of existence.
- He reveals the divine network of connections between us. Only by aspiring together, we reveal a glimpse of the Upper World.
- Then the next leap requires greater focus to land in His world - a world where the quality of mercy, love, and Joy is shared eternally between all humanity. Reply

landing In other words, keep your feet on the ground and try to transcend challenges. Nothing wrong with trying to achieve your dreams a second time even if your debt is an impediment. If you fail twice you might want to take stock of your capabilities. G-d will help those who help themselves. The Age of Miracles declined once we were out of the Sinai.Desert. maybe not to zero for some situations, but overall individual miracles are down, especially when it comes to material things such as money. Any institution trying to raise money in the present economy can attest to this fact. The money is not going to land in their lap. They have to be out there canvassing against the competition. Reply

So if you can't depend on miracles then how do you transcend your limitations?
A person opens a chabad house in Vietnam, is that practical? Of course not. But the Rebbe said to go there so he went.

We can't burn the candle at both ends. We can't transcend limitations without depending on Hashem's help. All of Hashem's help is miracles.

So where do you draw the line between being practical and transcending? Reply

Process There is a saying that "Before enlightenment, chop wood and carry water; and after enlightenment, chop wood and carry water." There still exists the beginning, middle, and end of things. We must remain grounded. Reply

Landing We can not achieve miracles on our own. The miracles that are performed through us can only come from the One who has the power to make them a reality.

The will of G-d is exciting and full of life! If we seek it first in all things and then submit His will to every area of our life, we will find ourselves transcending every earthly limitation-for G-d makes ways out of no ways. When we do land, in the middle of His will, the results we see are going to be countless miracles more incredible than any we could have ever dreamed of producing on our own.

The mistakes made when leaning on our own wisdom and understanding can be undone- just ask G-d for his guidance to correct it and then completely adhere to His directions. You will see Him begin to unravel the errors. In this, I am speaking from first hand experience. He unraveled much in my life and I am ever so thankful. Reply
