Don’t take the world and its darkness so seriously—it is not as real as it feigns to be. It is only a creation, and it is being re-created out of absolutely nothing at every moment.
The only thing real about the world is its purpose of being
—that you should purify it.
If "it is being re-created out of absolutely nothing at every moment", then you cannot "purify it."
To purify means to remove the impurities, so that what is left behind is purer than it was before you purified it.
But if what becomes purer "is being re-created out of absolutely nothing at every moment", then that means it is just being re-created purer than it was before. In other words, the impurities aren't really removed by you, they just aren't recreated when the rest is.

I read the inspirational quotes in the morning every week, which helped me to get on with the day regardless of what is ahead.
Now I send them from time to time to my mother, who lives in another country and she has been finding it inspirational too.

The Real Place is Misinterpreted . We are really in 'Ein Sof' (Infinity) - There is nothing outside us except the constant Light of G_d. The problem is we do not have the correct senses to feel and understand it as it really is. Through our corrupted senses we project a corrupted world before us. True intention to change your nature attracts that Light to reform you. Reply
Darkness is just a creation.. For the past few days, my love and emunah for Hashem has seriously been challenged. I read an article on Aish. The Institute for Holocaust Research has now presented new horrifying evidence that the number of estimated Jews killed in the Shoah were incorrect. New documentation of "neighborhood" concentration/extermination camps, previously unknown, have come to light. The real figure is.....20 million...not 6 million. How can a Father let evil slaughter that staggering amount, let alone, 6 million. I lost my love and respect... Reply

To purify his wisdom into the light, in other words to bring in and fade out darkness with G-d's wisdom.

darkness have read this many times, and each time it says something different to me (as with every subject from the Rebbe!!) thank you anonymous from a few years ago - i love Psalm 23 also. and for me, this is hugely encouraging, and ties in with 'this too shall pass" and a few other current sayings as far as comforting during the 'seriously' dark times. Psalm 23 speaks of walking through the valley
Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death ...I wll not fear evil for
G-d is with me.....even tho this is very present and a reality we must all face ...(death is certain to all ) but after that a judgment...we do not have to fear death ..because of our Faith and Trust as did Avraham have when offering up Isaac ..He knew the character of G-d and that He changes not! Our Trust should be in Him...not in reasonings and intellegence on man...

Source In answer to Ari's request for the source of this meditation: When the Rebbe introduced 12 verses for children to recite daily, one of them was "In the beginning, G_d created the heavens and the earth." This meditation is how the Rebbe explained the practical importance of that verse to a child--and for all of us. Reply
Rabbi, I am in awe at the site of this wisdom.
Now I see why I must sit in the scholarly books day and night for many years to come. For it will take me an endless time to grow to the self refined person that can absorb every last drop of truth that can be squeezed from this olive that is saturated with an oil that can be pressed again and again and yet still be an olive that is filled with oil.
Where is the source for where this meditation is based on?
