If you are confident that G‑d will help you,
why is anxiety written across your face?
If you are truly confident, show it and celebrate!

Celebrate Ironically, I was in a car accident yesterday with no injuries to the other driver or myself B"H and only minor damage to our vehicles. I drove home and called my insurance agent who said it would be today or Monday before I heard anything. Not 30 minutes later, I received a call back from the claims depart and had the claim number. 30 minutes after that, I had a call from the body shop and an appointment scheduled for Monday morning. 30 minutes after that call I had the third call from Enterprise (car rental) and had a car rental scheduled. I know from experience that it is never this easy! Just another proof of G-d helping me ... yes I celebrated and am still celebrating; there was no time for worry or anxiety B"H. Reply
Amen. How appropo! Reply
my feeling is this. I used to feel this way. However, now that I am living in community it is much different. It is less about my faith in the covenant but working together with my neighbors. A grounded approach Reply

THANK YOU!!! Thank you for the reminder. Although I don't have anxiety on my face, it may be in my actions. THank you so much for the reminder because I do believe that God will help me!! Wherever I am!! Reply

celebrate I hope that this message reaches rabbis. They are either as anxious, if not more so, than most people i know. But i am fortunate as we have one rabbi who is the epitome of cheerfulness. So is his dad. Runs in the family i guess. Great role models and i am no spring chicken. They are living proof that smiles and happy disposition are contagious. I figure that they are blessed big time, which makes them a pleasure to be around. Best part is that there is already evidence of the trickle down theory in their families. Reply
Paradox
The following is a Trust in G-d conversation or monologue or diatribe:
G-d will help me. My father just died, my mother is sick, don't ask about the rest of my family. The prognosis is not good, my best friend is being chased by a lion, the tax collectors and creditors are banging on the door and they would like to throw my things onto the street. But...G-d will help me. My friends try to help and things are not so grim and our individual decrees are exactly what we need but yes we have anxiety on our faces and we are not always smiling.
G-d will help me. But maybe I was in a concentration camp. Maybe who knows what mishugas one gets themselves into. When we don't know how to get ourselves out it's a very difficult experience and some experiences take a very long time to work through. So, forgive people for not smiling. They want to make sense of this world, it doesn't make sense. I personally would like to give over the recipe for constant satisifaction. Thank G-d that G-d saves.

Yes. Hashem can only get us out of this mess. However. I will leave it at that...
