In the ancient Book of Formation, it is written, “If your heart races, return to One.”
There are times when you find yourself in a state of inspiration, uplifted from the banalities of everyday life. At this time you must “return to One”—to the oneness of heaven and earth:
You must resolve how this heavenly state will affect your earthly life.
If we could make a 180° turn from egoistic mentality as individualism and competition to altruistic attitudes as in connection and cooperation, we would shift from hatred to love - From earth to heaven.
Gradually we will acquire spiritual senses. The ability to feel and know the hearts and minds of another. Empathy and understanding will enable our earth life to calm down towards a state of peace and harmony. These qualities bring us to oneness in mind and heart. Then G_d's presence dwells amongst us in this lifetime.
A shift in the desire of humanity is required before humanity reaches an abyss to destruction. The turmoil on earth will pressure us towards the new state of oneness.

...and yet, to project love to others, you have to love yourself, the love always in the loop between you and other, and Gd!. Reply
According to the spiritual texts we are born with an egoistic inclination which instinctively enables love of self.
The challenge is to project self-love onto others. To exit your ego. Then from love of others we generate the same quality as G_d does towards us.
Yes, we shift in a loop from love of self to love of others to love of G_d.
Me, love of others and G_d are in equivalence of form: Love!

Moses entered into the lofty heights of Heaven into the Divine Presence [Throne Room of GD], but his mission was on earth. And so he returned in UNITY with GD, and in community Covenant relationship to affect and effect holiness and gdliness in ourselves and on the earth; "Hear O Israel, the LRD Our GD is One LRD" [Deuteronomy 6:4-9].

have a look at the work of Cdn Dr. Abram Hoffer, & Dr. Andrew W. Saul, at the Orthomolecular News Service. Both have done nutritional studies that have greatly benefited many anxiety & mental health conditions. The field of orthomolecular medicine has grown out of the Hippocratic belief: Let Food be thy medicine, medicine thy food. Though most of secular society revere the tradition of Hippocrates, this was first written in Genesis: 1:29 and later in Ezekiel 47:12. Another resource that gives some background is a documentary film called "Food Matters".
I personally believe that a good foundation is the key to a successful 'return to one' experience. Healthy body = strong/clear mind ...

We can imagine how to feel oneness if we are players in an orchestra - each player follows the Conductor for the sake of the collective intent to make music.
Each instrument has added it's unique richness of tone, timbre etc to produce the beautiful harmony of their unity.
In a similar way we have to realize we are all connected at a higher level of consciousness - The cacaphony we see at our level indicates we are not connecting as the one integrated network as required of us.

Hear, O Israel... The LORD, your Gd is ONE. Oneness, not as Buddhists or pagans would define oneness. Oneness is returning to the LORD who gave you life--who gives you life. Turn from that which divides your attention from the ONE who alone deserves it; seek the ONE who is alone is ONE. Reply
Return to One, calms the one person;for when the heart races, imbalance is not far behind. The "ecstatic" state is unbalanced. This reminder also helps the ego--the sense of one's own importance--to halt, and correct--to merge again, with fellows. Reply
to "bruce ronner" you get inspiration when you do something extra special, out of the ordinary. For example when you are not in the mood of learniing/studying, and you open up the book anyway, then you have inspiration. I have just read this somewhere, that when you have a challenge ("nisayon") and you overcome it, then you recieve a special divine light. try it. you'll see! Reply
What does return to one mean? Who has experienced "returning to one" and is able to describe it to the average reader. How can you hope to inspire others if we have no comprehension of the subject? Reply
"if" is the key. This message is for those of us who aren't connected to H' every day. If you suddenly think that you need connection, you can have it! You must simply want to rise and think "bederech" as a way of life. We don't need to literally rise, we need to volunteer ourselves to respect H' , and follow as best as we can the Mitzvot ; we must do both in the Diaspora and in Eretz Israel. More Mitzvots there, but H' know where we are - just follow them your heart, and connect. That is the meaning of rising since H' is with us. here on earth. Just connect. it is not if but when ?

Great comment! Oftentimes, I feel many people what to reach beyond the heavens into the transcendent without having a relationship with GD and without community connection. They want to know secret spiritual knowledge to show their deepness. It's not about that really. The Torah tells us that we should love the Lrd our GD with all our heart, soul, and mind, and love our neighbor as ourself. The problem is "love;" the ability to reach out and love others without "ego" recognition. I believe in simplicity, being relatable, and approachable to ALL people and that is what makes the difference. When we reach out to help someone in need, or a cause you don't have to shout out loud, "Look what I've done or am doing!" GD sees and knows and will bless you because His Heart is your heart and you are honoring Him, and that is the life-line connection to GD, His people, the world that brings joy - Tikkun Olam. [Y]our "resume" is written in the Book of Life.
