What My Life in Russia Is (Not) Like

This was great! But how were Jews killed in Russia, that deep in the Soviet interior, victims of the Holocaust? Serious question.
"Russia" is a euphemism for the entire Soviet Union at the time, and many Soviet Jews were indeed victims of the Holocaust.
The Tzars then the communists persecuted and oppressed the Jewish people! In pogroms and they evicted them from Russia! Read Jewish history in Russia.. It was a horrid existence for Jewish people! Probably still is.. 🥺
As I responded to the other comment, there was a German victory at Rostov in 1942 according to Wiki, so I can see the possibility of Jews from Rostov ending up in the camps towards the end of the war. Thanks for responding! Shalom! :)
My research further enhanced since this comment: The Russian monarchy under Aleksi caused a mass famine in WW1, the bread riots, etc. The gentile monarchy shifted blame onto the Jews for their actions.
Thanks for the response, but I considered Soviet anti-Semitic policies seperate from Nationalist Socialist policies. The Tzars were assassinated before the start of WW2. I initially thought "survivors of the war' would be more accurate, but I googled it, there was a German victory at Rostov in 1942. But they advanced Eastward from there, yet I suppose it is possible that persecution by occupying forces could make the term applicable. I'd like to research more to gain the real history, but am currently busy with pursuiting a Bachelor's
Love it! Beautiful Jewish lad! The future is in great hands with beautiful souls like him at the helm.
Beautiful!!!! Mazal Tov on your Bar Mitzvah. May you continue to be a source of goodness and “nachas” to your family, your community, and to Klal Yisrael.
