Greetings and blessings,
Today, I received the cake from the bris of your grandson, Shlomo Yitzchak שי'. On this occasion, I would like to repeat my blessings of Mazel Tov. Just as you have brought him into the covenant of Abraham, so too may you bring him to Torah study, marriage, and good deeds. May you and your wife receive Jewish and chassidishe nachas (satisfaction) from this grandson and from all your other children [and grandchildren]. May [these blessings] be fulfilled not only in [a setting of] physical security, but also one characterized by peace of mind.
The good deeds that you have performed until now — in particular, the printing of the Sdei Chemed — and also the participatory role that you have taken in working to support the institutions of my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe, זצוקללה"ה, נבג"ם, זי"ע, will sustain you and your household and draw down blessing and success for you in all your concerns. In the very near future, may you be able to carry out your promise to support the above-mentioned institutions in Africa in an open-handed manner and may you have the opportunity to increase your support as the work requires and as your Jewish heart desires.
Please relay my blessing of Mazel Tov in connection with the bris to the parents of the child, your son, Yisrael Zalman שי', and his wife, Friedel תחי', to the grandmother, Rachel תחי', and to the great-grandmother, Breindel תחי'; may they be blessed with long and good years,
With blessings for a joyous Purim,
