Greetings and blessings,
Your two letters and the check that you enclosed — an initial [payment toward] publication of the maamarim of my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe, and for maamad — were duly received. With abundant thanks, the receipts are enclosed.
As per your request, I mentioned you and your wife [in a request] for everything you need at the gravesite of my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe. He has certainly aroused — and will continue to arouse — mercy Above for both of you for proper health and bodily and spiritual peace of mind — and also, that you be happier. This is particularly relevant at present [now] that you received and accepted the merit of printing a text containing his maamarim and sichos. In this way, many Jewish homes throughout the world will be illuminated. [For this,] you certainly earned that light and warmth be drawn down to you yourself. All that is necessary is to open the doors and the windows so that it will be able to enter. This is accomplished through Tehillim and Torah (studying Chumash together with Rashi’s commentary, Tanya, a study session in the Rebbe’s maamarim or sichos, or the like). This opens the heart and mind.
With regard to your question of when to send the remaining money: I don’t want to make it difficult for you. Nevertheless, the earlier the money comes here, the earlier the typesetter and the printer, etc., will be able to do their work.
I hope that in the coming letter you will write about an improvement in your mood and in the health of you both.
With blessing; awaiting good news,
