I don't remember where I came across a discussion about the disagreement between Aaron and Moshe eating the 'regular' sacrifice, and consequences of Moshe publicly contradicting Aaron.

The result would be that the High Priest was not the authority in spite of the ceremonies and his offer being accepted upon completion.

It would also undermine Moshe's role, since it would appear as if he was wrong to turn over leadership to Aaron. Reply

Was the Nachshon that brought the sin offering the same Nachshon that was the first to enter the sea of reeds? Reply

Thank you very much for this very clear explanation of a difficult passage in Rashi. I could not make any sense of it, not even with Sapirstein, but after I heard your lecture it became clear like spring water. Reply
